Chooses two different colours, makes a video essentially complaining about the colour. Choose a colour that is similar or the same to the mayhem’s. This video is a bit of a waste of time.
it's not about the color, it's about the vibrancy of the color due to how the fluids are made. I explain that. Everything is a waste of time when you don't pay attention.
Timothy Primochill has guidelines to keep the loop usable for long periods of time with the loop, one of jayztwocents' systems had it for months and it ended up actually making the parts in the loop appear shinier and newer after being tainted by mayhems pastel fluid. If all the parts in your loop follow primochill's guidelines you can use to fluid for long periods of time in your loops
@@v.aesthetic3764 I'm actually happy you made this video because I was curious about the comparisons but I also feel like Cannon Fodder's comment is perfectly valid. The colors you're comparing to Mayhems are purposely subdued colors. No one wants to order steel blue and see deeply saturated colors. I feel like a better comparison would have been, perhaps, the Sky Blue or Cobalt if you wanted to compare relative vibrancy. That being said the descriptions of the longevity of PrimoChill's colors compared to mayhems were very helpful and I feel much more confident in purchasing PrimoChill's offering over Mayhems, despite this comparison giving the aesthetic edge to Mayhem's.

The particles you see in there is mica powder, and both of them have it. One doesnt work better than the other. Both the VUE and Aurora will clog stuff up. The only way to avoid this is high flow components and a very strong pump so there are no dead spots or eddy currents showing up in the loop where it will concentrate and deposit the powder. You can keep this stuff in a loop for up to 2-3 years before it starts to break down (biocides no longer work and it grows stuff) without having clogging issues if you know what youre doing with your cooling system and not just going for looks. As for them looking different, they are of a slightly different viscosity (the VUE being thinner), which is whats causing it to excite more. Put some distilled water in the Aurora and it'll do the same.
I bought the Primochill VUE Ocular Flow Coolant, Sky Whyte SX model, and after 3 weeks, the liquid turned light blue and then almost transparent. I was really disappointed because I imported it to my country and it wasn't cheap!
Your video seems to have a pretty decent quality and you seem like a pretty decent youtuber. - Where you lost my interest and my potential subscription to your channel, is when you start comparing the colors. Now, granted you did say it's not an apples to apples comparison... You still compare 2 different colors and kinda bash one of them for not looking like the other. Say you were to look at 2 cars from 2 different car brands, say a Ferrari and a Lamborghini, now let's say you get to pick the colors of these 2 cars. So you go a pick 1 of them in yellow and the other in green. Then you go on to compare these 2 different cars, but as you said, not on performance... But on the chosen colors of the cars. Then you go onto bash one car because of the green doesn't look as yellow as the yellow car... Do you see what I'm saying? You picked a dark blue and a light blue, then you complain that the dark blue from one company is not as bright as the light blue from another company. - You're not comparing the fluids, you're comparing your preference in light blue vs. dark blue.
I think you missed my point. I wouldn't waste time making a video just to talk about which color I liked better. I specifically commented on how the Aurora is more vibrant, due to the way it's made, and in comparison, the VUE appears a bit dull. That's not something you can objectively comment on. I happened to have experience with both products, so I gave my subjective opinion.
According to Merriam-Webster's dictionary, the word vibrant is just another word for bright. The word bright describes the amount of light a certain object reflects. Darker colors absorb more light, whereas lighter colors reflect more light. - Therefore it's pretty difficult to accept an argument on which is brightest when the discussion revolves around whether the dark blue or light blue... Is the brightest. I think instead of comparing these two different cooling fluids from two competing companies by using 2 different colors, you should instead have ordered a lighter color aka. a more similar color from the Vue line-up. Then it would have been more fair and a more useful piece of information.

I know it was your opinion, and i appreciate you taking the time to make the video, it just seemed theres room for condensing the time down, and maybe talked less about the color comparison. oh my god, dude you can not compare steel blue for its lack of 'vibrant' colour to what looks like cobalt blue as they are completely different colours! may as well compared lime green with sage green -_-
Do you honestly think I'm stupid enough not to understand the difference between two colors??? The "color" is not where the fluid gets its vibrancy, it's the way the fluid is made. Aurora is semi transparent, so light passes through and makes the fluid appear more vibrant. I explained that in the video.
ugh. Again its steel blue, its dull, it will never be an OMG that stands out from a billion miles away, and the fact that you think that light going through the mayhems makes it more vibrant, we see colour because of light reflecting off a surface not passing through.... again if you want to compare two products get the same colour before you complain that a dull colour isn't as bright as a bright colour. That said I got to see the way it reacts when in a loop so thank you.
Thanks for the comparison. It looks like, for now, that if you have a "show machine" you may want to stick with Aurora. but if you have a work machine that you want to show off, Vue is probably the way to go. I'm sourcing parts right now to do a theme build on my family coat of arms, been researching family lately, and likely will use the Vue purple. I'm subscribing to insure that I get to see your build. It looks beautiful!!!
mayhems aurora isnt made for everyday use... thats why the colors are more vibrant.. the nano particles they use break down more rapidly then primochill vue. Aurora breaks down within months. i had Aurora in a build and it lasted about 3-4 months before it started to break down and settle.. its a show fluid not a everyday use
i love this vue fluid but just a heads up to anyone that used Cryofuel prior to the vue. Take everything apart and clean all of it out. I used the reboot for 4 days and flushed out every drop prior to adding the vue. Apparently the cryo leaves a clear residue behind that the reboot cant remove. Now my Vue is see through and lost about 80% of its effect :( Primochill is awesome though. They sent me a brand new bottle of the sterling silver. I am planning on cleaning everything out by hand then adding the silver vue. CANT WAIT!!
I would rather have an aurora look without the constant cleaning and possible clogging of components primo chill could add a booster to it like mayhem does?
Its Mica and water..... That's what it is little difference between the two because other than dye, its water and mica powder, technical term is Rheoscopic fluid, doesn't matter who makes it the mica will stack on the jet plates, fittings, and in the radiator. Its a show fluid for when units are on display period....
It's never available to order. How are people getting it? It's not available anywhere. And on primochill's site it keeps having the date pushed back, and then when you call the companies who stock primochill they tell you that primochill has yet to send them (resellers) their batches of product, and they were supposed to be getting it first so consumers could order it. It really is frustrating. I've been wanting the VUE since I saw Jayztwocents use it in the symbiote build. Doesn't look like it will ever be available without paying for it a month in advance and even then the dates get pushed further back.
turns out after some more research yesterday I found out that I won't be able to use it :( because my Monsoon Dual Bay Res has those two silver nodes in it. So it will mess it up :(
i have the UV sky blue vue fluid in my system for about 24hrs now. i love the fluid but i agree the color could be a bit more vibrant. also the uv reaction is weak in my opinion.
I want to know why PrimoChill's instructions say you should not use Vue in a machine that is on 24/7, and what happens if you ignore that. (Just cosmetics, or will it damage something?) Not putting it in my hardware until that is clarified.
Seen that, but I'm not sure he was running that system 24/7 (i.e. the pump is always moving the water, all day, every day). And I would like PrmoChill themselves to explain why they warn against doing so. Warnings without explanations don't let people properly understand or make choices.
I think the steel blue looks awesome. especially if you're running a dual loop with another vibrant color to offset the blue. The aurora blue is like any other pastel blue without the effects
the colors are not dulled - it is literally a different opaque color by default. check out sky blue? this was annoying to watch. you could clearly see the colors in the photos as to how they are actually different colors.
what you are talking about here is perception. you are trying hard to define it. but your choice of color is just that a choice. at the moment primochill is the choice for people who do not want to mess up there system . I use a clear color and just turn on lights, it may not look as sharp to someone else as it does to me,, but it sure doesn't cause problems in my loop. I sleep better. the particles added to the color are varying by product.,, ie pearls, microns, aluminum, there are many choices to get a color to vibrate, I don't trust any of them yet.
Aurora is "NOT" made for use in a home system. It has been developed for show System's (modding) and Photo work. If looking for a fluid for a Home system / Gaming system please use Mayhems X1 or Mayhems Pastel range of fluids there are fully tested and working in any kind of loop
your comparing a coolant that is not intended for use with a daily pc to a coolant that is actually operable. I've had premature blockage, color drop, and contamination with all of mayhems coolants pastel, x1, and yes I even took the risk after reading the warnings of aurora v2. I'll trust jayztwocents review
just a stupid opinion of mine coming up. take it helpful not critical and mean. i can sum up your entire 12 min video in three sentences. don’t buy blue Vue if you want vibrant hues do buy mayhem’s. do buy vue if you want to use it more than a month due to gunk buildup. i only know this color so i may be wrong on other colors but the vue seems dull. bam. that’s 99% of your message in 30 seconds. lol. on youtube bro you gotta keep it quick and concise or risk losing viewers. if you want to give opinions on color is fine but make it quick. not 10 min. for a 10 min video it needs to have lots of facts and tests to keep a viewer.
