Tim is the real stickman for this band

First time I saw them was right before Suck On This was released, didn't know much about them, hadn't heard their music yet. Before the show, Tim was hanging out at the bar with drumsticks sticking out of his back pockets. Very un-punk rock, of course, and we commented on it amongst ourselves. Then they went on and proceeded to blow us away, particularly Tim who was bar none the best rock drummer I'd ever seen play live up to that point. Short version: my friends and I were dumbasses, ha.

Spiney Lobster Primus may be well know for Les's complex bass skills but without Ler demolishing the metronome in the background it really wouldn't be the same. Plus him and Les are really good friends

Seriously it isn't Primus without Larry Lalonde. They may get different drummers, I love Jay Lane, Tim Alexander, and Brian Mantia. But it wouldn't be Primus if they tried to replace Lalonde. Yes I know about Todd Huth, but if Todd Huth rejoined the band, then it would be Sausage to me.

I was a senior in high school, 1990 3rd day of school back from summer. My best friend gave me a couple hits of acid and the new Frizzle Fry album for my birthday that day... I skipped every class and we just sat in his car listening to it, and Jane's Addiction Ritual that had also just been released all day on repeat... Let's just say I was never the same after that day!! No one knew who they were, what they looked like, friends would be like what is this shit?? Take it out of my tape player!! I thought they were a bunch of woodland creatures. One of the best days of my life!!
