This is a thorough review of the Primus Trailbreak Mug and Bottle in both .35 and .5 Liters. I've been using the mugs almost two years now and this encompasses all the things I've learned with them so far.

I have one of these, and I was expecting ALOT more for the price. Mine broke today due to a manufacturing issue with the lid, and I have only had it for about 2-3 months and been EXTREMELY carefully with it, never dropped it and never abused it. Cleaning it every time after use. But weak plastic parts will always be weak plastic parts sadly. So the construction is good otherwise, but the lid is nothing but bad and totally useless to be honest. DO NOT BUY THIS, beware !

Man that’s not good! I wish they would redesign the lid for cleaning ability, I’ve still not broken mine yet though. There definitely should be a warranty, I think they have a 1 year free of defects so reach out if you bought it directly from them or take it back to the store you bought it from. Don’t let them waste your money!

@@PhilipBlank Sorry for the late reply, i did contact the company i bought it from and they were really nice and helpful. They send me another unit, and it has been working fantastic since then. Maybe i was just unlucky with my example, but overall the construction is really solid and i just love it. Using it everyday at work for the past 5 months. :) Probably the best thermos i've ever had, only downside i have is that it is kind of messy to clean it properly, especially if you use milk in your coffee. And the size, its not huge but i would not say that its small in any way either, but the lid and the close / opening system i really enjoy. So i would recommend it in the end. :)
