I went to two shows back to back. It's true Prince never ever does the exact same show twice. That's remarkable. With Prince you never know what you are going to get. But you know its going to be awesome!!!!
Ms. Copeland I was fortunate enough to be at the MSG concert back in 2011 (I think) and saw you dancing in his show. I had no idea who you were, never heard of you before, but I was so amazed at your talent, beauty, and performance. I have been loving you ever since. I saw this concert at the Meadowlands Arena (Izod arena).. First time seeing Prince and by far one of the best performer in concert I ever saw live! He gave almost 4 hours of his music including a small intra appearance with the opening band and closed with a bunch of encore.. But at the Meadowlands performance he opened up with "Let's go crazy".. The stage was completely dark in the beginning as he announced the words "dearly beloved" a few times.. Crowd went crazy! Stage lit up and song started.. Special guest was with Shelia E. After the half. Then at the end of course "Purple Rain".. the best part with closing with purple rain, he had a gospel band in the background dressed in purple gowns singing the chorus part. But the crowd didn't know it until the light shined on them.. it was so well orchestrated, each and every song! Was amazing! This man truly loved and appreciated his fans.. I've never witnessed and realized how unbelievable he is playing that guitar! May he rest in peace..
I agree. I got to meet him for a minute. The key was to not try to meet him. He yelled "now THAT's a HAT!" at me as I was setting up cameras. I turned around, and instead of being starstruck said, "Prince... open with 1999 already for the HAT..... please?!" He gave me that weird one eye cringe Prince look and never did I think he was going to do it.
I came here because I listened to Misty Copeland on Apples time to walk, and she mentioned this. She was thrilled that Prince introduced her. What an awesome women and a beautiful moment from both.
Wow, wow what a performance Misty and Prince, completely fascinating, mesmerizing, graceful and beautiful. Prince, always should have a ballerina at his concerts, rather than not much of a dancer a 'belly dancer'.

Misty! Beautiful moment. Prince knew Misty was special. Ps, I've been a Prince fan since his debut in 1978. WJIZ radio in Albany Georgia played heavily Prince's first two albums, I was hooked.
I do have all 3 angles on 3 hard drives somewhere.... another of it is me running around framing shots as I said it was only to be used for some news & promo clips. I'll see if I can dig together another song segment or two.

Lol. Sorry about that, but I wasn't recording for Prince I was recording to sell a few clips to news stations so this was never intended to be seen publicly more than a 30 second clip.
I heard about this, first of all Prince was a nut, his one child who died he wouldn’t admit to snd tortured the woman who gave birth to him Misty is an extraordinary dancer and I cry daily about all of the talent that was never allowed to blossom due to slavery and inequality. But, this sounds garbled and looks alright, nothing much. 👎
