There will never be another quite like him., NEVER. A rare gem. I’ve been a fan since the middle school with 8 track tapes where you couldn’t rewind or fast forward. I had all the posters out of the magazines, buttons that you put on shirts , etc. True hard working genius.Everything they said he couldn’t do, he exceeded it. My place is Prince dwn. Shower curtains m, bubble gum machines, earrings, shirts ect. Some were gifts from family because they know me. I went to concerts in the 80’s, wish I would’ve met him in person but I had the pleasure to enjoy his talent then and now and forever 💜💜

Everything that came together had to come together. Everyone was good, but Prince truly is a miracle genius! He really was the best. All of the rest were great too!

Dr Fink and Bobby seem to manage on the wage WB paid them. Prince didn’t pay their wages as they worked for WB and they had costs to pay while touring. The girls started complaining about being partners not employees of WB. Prince and only Prince had the contract with WB.

We need a prequel for Purple Rain with Andre, Morris, Prince, Jimmy, Terry and Jerome. ❤ Then we need Matt, Bobby Z, Brownmark, Wendy and Lisa, Vanity 6 and how all the groups came together like an origin story like what they are doing with Marvel and DC comics. These are some of our greatest musical talents and heros.

I just watched the 1984 movie "The Cotton Club' before I saw this video and ironically for some reason the Lonette McGee character and the piano player reminded me of Prince's parents. I haven't seen that movie for years.

Do they ( so called close friends) know how trivial they sound. The proof is in who succeeded and who didn’t achieve what they thought they should have. Prince got the WB contract and had to do as they wanted, therefore leaving him divided and this upset his friends who wanted to rise with him and expected that from him.

I love it how Prince's bandmates think people were loving and coming to see the band. Yes, he chose talented musicians to support him. But it's Prince who was the star.

Ok, now I'm getting the information that I've been looking for, like who was his major influence as a guitar player. I've read a biography about Prince but it didn't go deep into who really influenced him musically and now I'm getting. A prodigy and he put some serious work i n plus his father drilled him and set a high standard for him. Man! Prince was phenomenal, I've never seen anything like him.

Damn......Damn.....DAAAAYUHM....this was AWE INSPIRING!!! Great work as always and I just had to tell you that when the old news footage of 7 yr old Prince became a national news story back in April 2022. I thought to myself if somehow, you'd eventually do something creative with the footage, but man, you've outdone yourself. The way you included the actual news story of the riots and teachers strike as the leadup to the interview just made his appearance poignant. And the family pics with the comments from the family members was touching. I'm especially moved by cousin Chaz Smith complimenting both mother and father for their integrity and serious WORK ETHIC!! And some more props for little sister TYKA NELSON . She was just the most ADORABLE little human!! And I'm still waiting on a Master Class series on Video Editing and documentary film making from ya'......I love this channel!!!👍👍👍😊
