I love how the whole church scene is pretty much just calling Charles and Camilla out for being disgusting. “Christ maker of all things, judge of ALL men.” God I loved that.

Honestly, I would’ve preferred if the show ended further down the timeline with Kate and William getting married. Seeing William put Diana’s ring on Kate’s finger would have gone *HARD*

To think Prince Philip died on the same day they got married i don't think Prince Philip attended the ceremony because his wife The Queen didn't go to the reception either may their souls rest in peace 🕊️

The fact that they had a civil ceremony and not actually a wedding kind of fits, not to mention the fact that by this time, they are both like in their 50s or whatever. They had an entire affair for many, many years, decades, even. They hurt a lot of people (including their children) and did not care whatsoever or even have any remorse for their actions. I heard that King Charles III was upset when Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip refused to attend his wedding, and I don't exactly blame her choice. His mother made it perfectly clear early on that she did not approve of Camille hell none of the royals (from what I heard and read) approved of Camille. But they torlerated her because they thought that she was a fling and that Charles would eventually move on, and when that did not happen, then The Crown had to step in and force his hand a bit. It's sad that Diana had to go through what she went through with Charles because she did not deserve any of it and yes, she may not be completely innocent in all of these but to be completely honest I don't exactly blame her either. Charles was off having his love affair with Camille expecting Diana to just stay at home in that big empty palace and pop out heir after heir for him while also going through depression and I think postpartum and bulimia as well. He was an awful husband to her, and it was very clear in the show, and in real life, he didn't even try to make the marriage work. Diana truly loved Charles, and she was led to believe by him that he loved her too, but that simply was not the case. I think the real King Charles III hates this show because it portrays him as someone he was in real life, especially towards Diana. Let's face it both Camille and King Charles III truly deserve each other in the show and in irl, they are two selfish, horrible, awful monsters who hurt their individual spouses and no remorse for it. They even hurt their own children and had no remorse for it. They broke up their own families and had no remorse for it. So whatever Karma has in store for them in the near future is probably exactly what they deserve.

It sad to think if the Queen mother and co didn't refuse to allow this marriage years ago, many people would've been spared their sad fates. These two deserve happiness and don't deserve it in the same time

As weddings are supposed to be about love and happiness and a new life ahead, involving a celebration by the families, the oddness of this church 'blessing' as more a 'begging for forgiveness from wickedness' seemed very peculiar. The actual wedding in a municipal registry office without the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh present was very strange too. I suppose the 'happy couple' just had to grit their teeth that day and get through the ritual humiliation - then get on with their lives.

Camilla is only the most recent Queen Consort (wife of the reigning male monarch): HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother and HM Queen Mary before her were all Queen Consorts). The only Queen Regnant in recent year was HM Queen Elizabeth II, and before her was Queen Victoria.

Joanna Lumley would have been a good choice to play Camilla.

Even if the Royal Family welcomed Camilla with open arms, Andrew Parker Bowles was still very much in the picture so that was a dealbreaker. I don't think she would've given him up and it would've been another love triangle. Even Camilla said that she committed to Charles because Andrew didn't seem interested anymore.

The transition between young Charles and older Charles is really well done. Both actors do a great job of playing the same person at very different stages of his life.

I like to imagine Princess Diana laughing at Charles and Camilla having to publicly acknowledge their sins.

I really appreciate the fact that they didn’t gove Camilla the villain-edit, but instead portrayed her as genuinely human.

All that echoing gave the bishop's voice too much reverb, it made him sound like a sci-fi villain.

The foreshadowing with the two princes. One who puts on his own flower; the other has to have it done for him. Same with the packing of their bags earlier in season 6.

The wedding that happened 20+ years late - Charles and Diana were a terrible match. Charles and Camilla are true love, what a shame they could not get married when they first met.

Everyone acting like Charles and Camilla were in love so much sooner…she was sleeping with Andrew and in love with him at the time. Don’t blame the Royals for meddling, blame Camilla for not choosing Charles and double dipping.

Charles and Diana’s relationship reminds me a lot of a song by Natalie Jane called “Seven”. It explains them to a T! More specifically the lyrics “Remember when you said you wanted me to go blonde? Well now it makes sense that you ran right into her arms. I bet you think she’s nice. I bet she’s just your type. I can’t blame you, guess we both got what we fantasized.” Charles and Camilla really do deserve each other. The royal family as a whole, never deserved to have Diana to begin with. Both of them deserved each other. They were literally born for each other. Equally ugly with rotten souls, no morals and principles. Charles was d luckiest of all men as he married the most beautiful lady God has put on earth with a beautiful soul and a heart of gold. No doubt, the love is blind as he wanted Camilla who is not even good looking while been married to the most beautiful woman in the whole world. Diana the Queen of hearts was loved by people all over the world. May she rest in Peace.Amen

I didn't think the Queen and Prince Philip attended the wedding.

I can't imagine what Harry must have been feeling during this entire ceremony. I mean, he lost his mother at 12 years of age and then his father goes off and marries the woman who helped to break up their family and hurt his mother. While Charles was happy and probably having a party and a victory lap at finally getting what he had always wanted which was to marry Camille, his two sons were suffering inside, especially Harry. It's clear here and probably in really life too that Charles only cared about his happiness and what he wanted. He wasn't thinking about his sons or anything else and that's just sad. And this whole a King or Queen has to married is just bull crap to me because if Queen Elizabeth I can be Queen and not be married even in like the 15th or 16th century or whatever than I'm pretty sure that the same rules can apply in the 20th and 21st century as well.

Charles met his soulmate at a very young age, and was not allowed to marry her. They got her married to someone else and they wanted her to live with him n children . They got charles married to diana, someone perfect for the royal family, may be they thought there will be love after marriage. But that did not happen.

Another bogus scene. William was not drinking hard liquor and toasting a picture of his parents nor was QEll of ill ease (that was H&M's wedding). The congregation and crowds were boisterous, the mood was very celebratory with the boys excitedly dancing around and Anne, QEll and Philip beaming. The layout is not even accurate as Camilla was seated next to QEll who quite enjoyed the service. And there was no agita over the repentance which the whole congregation partook and is common in services. The Crown is ignorant of this and agenda driven conjecture. There is actual footage of all this.

It was mean of the church and the officials to make Charles and Camilia focus on their sins during the ceremony. A Wedding is for happiness and the future, not focus on the past and sins. Nobody else int he worls has to focus on their sins during a wedding, even divorcees'

camilla and charles were VERY lucky the queen decided to let them marry.they had an affair for so many years.charles betrayed diana .he never loved her really.he only married her because his mom and grandma forced him to .and since camilla was already married he couldnt have her.diana truly fell in love with him and did her best to make it work with charles.but his hook ups with camilla made that impossible.i think the boys were DEFINITELY against it especially william and i dont blame him.to this day i believe he blames camilla and charles for dianas death

Diana may have been the 'wrong' wife for Charles but it just occurred to me maybe he was never got to be royal to begin with? The queen and Philip loved Diana and saw her royal potential. Charles got jealous and tried to smother it. I think Diana was a brilliant future Queen but Charles was just not ready to be her prince.

I like Camilla and she is a brilliant Queen!

It wasn't a bad wedding I remember. But it was always done with the understanding that she won't be anything more than Charles' wife, and yes, queen one day, nothing more than that. She at least has since then did her duty as his wife and future queen, which is more than I can say for women like Wallis Simpson, Lillie Langtry, Daisy Warwick and Alice Keppel. She's not living in any fantasy where she's beloved by all and can get away with anything. That is to her credit I guess that she's accepted she will, and has never been, a princess.

Camilla's dress is prettier in the video than the real one. Same can be said for the actress who's a few pounds lighter.

This is the blessing of the wedding. Where they acknowledged their sins and repent.

I had a problem with how Harry was portrayed in this last season. It seemed like the RF had some influence in creating the content. The actor who plays Harry looks like an evil and ugly Harry Potter character. Stop letting Harry and Meaghan live rent free in your heads, we see you wow!
