Even before they left the UK in 2020 - if you watch their tours that they did in Australia, NZ, Fiji - Meghan always walked ahead of Harry- that is a no, no in Royal protocol - Harry is the Prince where as Meghan is just the Wife. Even when in Windsor after the Queen passed & they did the Walkabout with William & Catherine - Meghan went to walk ahead of them & Harry had to pull her back as protocol demands that William & Catherine as the Prince & Princess of Wales & next in line of succession always walk ahead. Meghan always takes the lead & hapless Harry just goes along for the ride. if Harry shows any signs of boredom she grabs his hand/arm in a vice grip aka the Markle Claw.
I see no reason why Meghan should always be in front of Harry. She treats him like a stray puppy she found but doesn't plan to keep. Or maybe Harry is sick of her hanging on him and has chosen to stand back a few paces to stay out of her reach. Either way, it looks bad.

Notice the hands of Harry vs William. William is always confident and his hands do not distract in any way. Harry is never sure what to do with his free hand, the one not attached to Meghan. So, he's always playing with his jacket, buttoning, unbuttoning, sliding his hand in and out, straightening his tie etc. He's completely lacking the level of confidence of his brother and is unsure of himself. Even when Meghan is not there, he continues dinking around with his coat, trying to find a place for his right hand.

Megan has excellently played the role as the ‘evil woman’ on a global stage, and made everyone soooo angry at her! The screenplay was brilliantly written and her performance was superb.
