Amy Turner .... I don't think "common" is a negative word. Soldiers, military ... they understand we are our brother's keeper, we are connected and dependent on each other. Thinkwhat difference it might have made with Trump if he had battlefield experience. Maybe he would be less self-centered and better understand we work together for the whole, not just for the wealthy.

AnonRanGER01 I beg to differ. Harry seemed quite comfortable and well tapped into his primal energy a few years back when partying naked in Vegas. Here, he's just trying not to mess up the choreography and doesn't know all the words.

But look at him! There's no snappiness in his movements, no strength. No bulging eyes, no stuck out tongue, no RAWNESS... I got the impression that the Haka is all about intimidating your enemy, you know, "Look at us, we're scary and serious AF!", but his body language and facial expression are more like "Don't look at me, mom, I'm practicing my dance moves.". As a side note, partying in Las Vegas is a bit different from participating in public events like this. For starters, I doubt he is intoxicated. :P Don't get me wrong, I got nothing but respect for Prince Harry, except maybe a little envy. I'm just a bit disappointed, but I do understand that most of the people around him were doing hakas while he was learning which fork to use to eat fish, and he had to practice it from scratch, without any knowledge of the language - but I also think it's related to the fact that the Maori warrior spirit is all about rawness and fury, while Harry is, well, a BRITISH OFFICER, and royalty, to boot. Those are polar opposites. Primal instincts vs. composure. British officers don't duck. Maori warriors duck so they can bite your balls off and spit them in your face. Anyway, I get the impression Harry would have preferred to be in combat rather than having to perform this, and who am I to judge anyways. :P

A lot of the royals go into the military. Prince William was in the army and then the RAF search & rescue wing, Harry was an Apache gunner in Afghanistan, Prince Andrew flew helicopters in the Falklands War, etc.

I think what Rockie might be saying is their shit doesn't smell better than the rest of us and both Harry and William are exemplary examples for how they should behave. Sounds to me Rockie is spot on with his comments not sure where you are coming from.

I never thought about it, but after I have seen some videos with him, I think you are right. (not because of your reasons, but because I think he is most "normal", nearest to the people.) Just my opinion.

William served in the army aswell and serves as an air sea rescue pilot. He's a future king who has saved lives flying a sea king helicopter in some of the worst conditions.

Charles won't be king. He will abdicate in favour of William if he doesn't die before his parents do. William might no longer be a hot sexy prince like his younger brother, but he also served in the military and he's just as capable and respectful a leader, and both of them would follow in the footsteps of their grandmother.

I doubt Charles would abdicate, not after he grew up knowing what it did to his grandfather and the kingdom when his great-uncle abdicated. Yes it would be for entirely different reasons, but I can't see anyone abdicating in that family, The Queen would be appalled.

gek421 Funny, I think the Queen will do everything in her power to outlive Charles so that she can see William and Kate on the throne. While I think the Queen loves her son, I do not believe that she ever wants to see Charles as King. She is astute and knows that Charles brings a lot of baggage to the throne and think she would sacrifice his succession to secure the future of the monarchy. William and Kate are unblemished and would be lovingly accepted. Regardless of what people think of Charles, I still don't believe that the Brits would accept him with Camilla sharing the throne. I hope the Queen lives as long a life as her mother - and even longer.

Also we exchange officers all the time, Harry was serving in his role as British Army captain, we send them all over the world to exchange training and techniques. The British Commonwealth is also a military alliance, look up how many ANZAC soldiers served in both world wars. We have New Zealand soldiers in the UK, should they be sent home to save the NZ taxpayers?

Harry is a Captain, and this are part of his privileges and duties as a Captain not as a Prince.
