After Harry was born it became blatantly obvious to her that her usefulness was over, this hit her terribly hard, she loved him and went into the marriage with all the optimism of any new bride , I don't care how much many anyone has if you are in severe emotional pain you may as well be homeless, it was ridiculously cruel how they treated her

This is the kind of footage i prefer seeing it shows the Royal family as normal instead of staged , and Charles also being a dad picking up his son and the Queen being a grandma this showed me that they are a family who love their children and grandchildren . Would love to see more like this .

@@hlondon2408 I’ve read on a few posts on other royal vids that cuz Prince Louis behaves this same way they think it’s inapropiet as he’s four yrs old. We said all kids do that at four it’s what kids do. One lady stated her child didn’t misbehave in public I said what are u social worker I’ve been told they make their kids Sid outside while eating and playing and drinking. Even a body language expert stated Louis was badly behaved at the jubilee. William and Harry are doing what kids do.
The Windsors have never been known for being very affectionate. However I think Prince Charles was a much better father than people give him credit for.

Charles took surprisingly good care of William I think. As for Diana, what can I say? Beautiful, always is, and such a careful, caring mother. Notice how she handles both William and Harry.
Poor Harry was never a very promising child. No surprise he is such a homely adult. William was a beautiful child who grew into a handsome man. No wonder Harry is jealous.
Such a beautiful peek at them as a family with the littles running around and "Granny" and "Great Granny" enjoying the children. Seeing tiny pieces of the grandmother Queen Elizabeth was makes me appreciate even more the heartbreak her family and, to a lesser degree, all of us are feeling at her loss.
At the end of the day this was just a sweet family that was exposed to the world stage judged and criticized by many. How many of us could have endured the constant criticism and interference? I can't imagine the pressure.
Time flies by, William and Harry are proud fathers themselves. Diana looked adorable, that motherly glow. It's really unfortunate what Diana had to endure in her short life.

Precious moment in time...the first I've seen of Charles and Diana as a "real family"....it's sad that the marriage between them didn't work as it was like a beautiful fairy tale for the rest of the world. Diana was the quintessential princess and we adored her.
It’s amazing to see Elizabeth’s mother on video and In color. She seems so ancient. I was blown away by another video in color I seen of her and Queen Mary at almost 100 years old. I think Queen Elizabeth 2nd and her mother looks so much alike in their 90’s
Prince Charles is far better father than a lot seem to think. He respected the memory of Diana but he also knew the obligations his sons have to face. He knows too well, actually, the whole ordeal with Camilla ha sprobably formed his character. Charles gets too little credit.

It is so nice to see the 4 cousins getting along very well like own siblings..They have maintained their closeness till today, which only grew with their age..All this in spite of the fact that Anne and Diana never saw eye-to-eye..and the relation among the two households being always cold.. But the two mothers deserve lot of praise for letting their kids bond so well.. This was and is very good for the kids themselves, and the entire Royal Family..and especially to the Queen herself,
I totally agree that Prince Charles had the potential to be a great father if only he did not destroy his marriage he would’ve had a very good legacy as a husband, a father and eventually as a king but choices have consequences and he chose his mistress over his family

If Diana hadn't started having so many affairs Charles would have stayed with her. In one interview before she died Diana said that Charles was faithful until after Harry's birth but went back to Camilla when he found out about her affair with Hewitt. At least she finally admitted it but it was too late . People in the Diana Cult still think she was an innocent.

It was lovely to see both of Princess Royal, Anne's, children, Peter and Zara, playing with William and then doting over their younger cousin, Harry. Peter was quite tall at that age, just like his mom and dad. Zara certainly has always been a true blonde. No wonder her three kids are so fair too. I love how Zara and Peter and William have always bonded and still do. Shame that Harry destroyed his bond with his cousins. The Queen was gorgeous with explaining to Zara and Peter about Dash the dog. She was very animated and relaxed. Watching Charles interact with William was precious, as he explained to him about the Christening gown and then later gathering him up in his arms and beaming a proud daddy smile before letting him down to run around with his cousins. Diana and Charles seemed connected and happy then. It's a shame their marriage didn't last, but there's many circumstances that no one will ever know the real truth. They've both given their versions which of course are biased as each wouldn't want to be seen as the demon in it. Diana's words ...there were three of us in the marriage ... Was perfectly executed as it was done with such precise sorrow and victim-hood that it became the sentence everyone clings on to as a biblical truth, without anyone question the discretions she made herself. Diana was an incredible woman who managed to achieve a great amount of good through the status of having married Charles. I wonder if they'd been together today, what her work would have consisted of. We can only imagine. I'm glad though that Charles has found happiness and was allowed to marry Camilla as he had initially wanted to. Thank goodness William is the first born and has the character he has plus the wife he has too

Diana was never comfortable talking to any adults. She would go to pieces if she had to meet a head of state. She knew she was dim and uneducated and didn't know what to say.

According to Diana's own words he only went back to Camilla after he discovered her affair with Hewitt but, in my opinion the marriage was already over because she broke her marriage vows. He and Camilla have been faithful to each other over an almost 20 year marriage and he is finally happy. I don't know why you say she gave up but it certainly wasn't acting like a slut because she had at least 8 more affairs!

Look through the ether and see the suffering she was under even then.
