The last time I went to the drive in, I was looking for the speaker that you hang on the window of your car so that you could hear the movie and everyone in the car busted up laughing. I didn't know that you had to tune your radio in to a certain channel.

For the first 5 years of that timeless classic era, he rocked the mic alone, as the sole Latino emcee in the New Skool, it wouldn't be until '89 before another Hispanic male (The Real Roxanne would become the first Latina emcee in 88) emcee would come on the scene, as Markie Dee eventually paved the way for other Golden Era Hispanic emcees like Mellow Man Ace, Powerule, Kid Frost, Cypress Hill, Kurious, Funkdoobiest, A Lighter Shade of Brown, Chino XL, Zack de la Rocha (of Rage Against the Machine... YEAH he's a Hip-Hop emcee too), the Beatnuts, Fat Joe, Big Pun (RIP), Cuban Link and the rest of the Terror Squad, Frankie Cutlass, Tony Touch, A.L.T., Main One, N.O.R.E., Dom Pachino of Killarmy, Delinquent Habits, Psycho Realm, Proper Dos, Lil Rob, South Park Mexican, etc.(Way too many to list) and yet sadly, he rarely gets the credit he deserves for having done so. I attended the Fresh Fest Tour at the UIC Pavilion (University of Illinois Chicago) the summer of 1985. Run Dmc,Fat Boys,Whodini,LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash & the Furious Five, NYC Breakers and more. If I'm not mistaking it was the first all Hip-hop tour. That ish was live.

FATBOYS was and is one of my favorite rap groups of all times they deserve a lot of recognition for their contributions to the game.

The Fat Boys, along with Run DMC of course, inspired me and my friends back in the 80's to form a group in Philly called the Cazal Boys.
