This is so sad. The way mahidevran spoke to mustafa about mehmet not being a brother but a rival and trying to separate them. Mustafa asked why mahidevran is the only one who ever cries. It isn’t because she’s the only one who gets heartbroken or is punished and banished. Both her and hurrem make great mistakes and commit crimes, but mahi only sits around crying when she has to face the consequences. Hurrem does not make herself a victim or sits about feeling sorry for herself. She does something to get herself into a better position or takes back power, as she knows she is being punished bc of her own deeds and comes with the territory. That is why people respect and like hurrem so much more, even though they both make lots of mistakes.

its true whenever they play Hurrem's speech about herself, that she threw her sorrows into the deep wells and made the waves eat them

@Dreamfyre remember how hafsa valide and mahirvran conspired to burn and kill hurrem. and yet none of her closest concubines got punished. but when gul and hurrem set a trap for mahidebram, Ibrahim the devil was so quick to throw out gul agha from the palace

The way mahidevran smiled when she saw the sultan hugging hurrem’s children (especially mihrimah). Rare moments where they are just a family putting other things aside and just being grateful their loved one returned home safe.

I really don't like Mahidevran or Mustafa's attitude but i could relate to mustafa so much in the last scene. Fighting for your mother and being her support system.

@@mintlover77 Mustafa was never rude always loyal to his father, indeed he may have disobeyed him sometimes, bayezid and cihangir also did even Mehmed disobeyed his mother for some reason But in reality Mustafa never betrayed Suleiman and was loved by the empire his mothers killed him, his own mother kept crying in front of him instead of facing it herself nobody want their mother to cry in front of them, which ruined his childhood and his step mother Hürrem spent half her behind his life to kill him

The real reason why Mustafa died lies here, his own mother caused his death as well as downfall If hurrem was Mustafa's mother the empire wouldn't have been destroyed Like mehned Mustafa had all the qualities required for a sultan Suleiman got angry initially, but when he listened that Mustafa is doing the same Suleiman used to do for his mother he was proud that he raised his heir well

is a devil who cries fake tears to manipulate everyone around her, lies even though its already obvious.. thank God her son never made it to the throne or else mahiDEVIL would have had Suleyman and Hurrem's whole family killed. i think that's one of the reasons why mustafa was never made the heir.
