Just a video on every new area in the revelations. Here iss my quick review of these areas:
00:01:43 - Guard Tower
Guard Tower is too difficult of an area for when you reach it. This area is reached after defeating Shadee which is very early in the game. The traps and puzzles do not fit the rest of the game and it does not help that you have limited rewinds are this point. 3/10
00:12:18 - Underground Spring
Another area I really did not enjoy. The area is really ugly and does not fit the beautiful aesthetics of the Water Tower. Not being able to move the camera easily makes the perfect jumps and drops really annoying, if this area was in the console ports I would forgive it, but the small joystick on the PSP made this area a nightmare as a kid. The later parts of the level are actually very nice and transition to the Water Tower well. 5/10
00:30:59 - Puzzle Chamber
This area is pretty incredible. The aesthetics of the area are really nice and would fit Warrior Within perfectly. The puzzle is not necessarily trail and error, if you pay attention to the cutscenes and the doors you have already visited, this puzzle is easily solved. I would have loved this to be added to the trilogy port. 9/10
00:45:43 - Behind the walls
Pretty awesome trap layouts in this area. Since we are the sand wraith we are gifted with infinite sands which makes the difficulty bearable. It's nice that this area exists since the Sand Wraith section is very short in Warrior Within. Not much else to say here, the area is quite forgettable. 7/10
00:49:29 - Behind the walls (continued)
This strict time puzzle is pretty cool. You have to utilize the sand wraiths infinite slow down, that way you have enough time to reach the top. There is a very diverse range of platforms which really adds nice difficulty. There aren't many vertical areas in the Prince of Persia series so this is a very nice change. 8/10
00:52:52 - Fire Temple
The traps in this area are at their peak difficulty in Prince of Persia. There are strict timings for the jumps and drops which makes this area annoying especially since the trap layouts aren't really fun or cool. The fire is cool but that's about it. The later section with the beams is one of the worst cases of the game not really being play tested properly. The beam fights with the assassins are atrocious, jumping to counter the assassins will either make you fall off the edge or set you in a position where you cannot strike the assassins back. Overall the area is annoying and too long. 5/10
01:04:02 - The Statues
Pretty creative area with some decent platforming. The game choses to use perfect jumps and drops for its difficulty but there is as least some diversity with its platform layouts. The lore implications of this area are pretty insane but nothing is actually explained which kind of ruins the experience. The aesthetics are cool but are somewhat ruined by the PSP limitations, the statues are very flat with their dimensions and every statues has the same texture all over them. Still the area is very interesting and the platforming is somewhat fun. 7/10
