I find these puzzles bit hard first time but now i can complete them without any walkthrough or help but the last bonus part that is behind the wall fire and water temple and statue chamber is damn hard. Even stair puzzle is easy now. Behind the wall, fire temple are still ok but water temple and statue chamber is hell. I played this version on my phone atleast 4 times but i still play ur video on my laptop for help to get out of statue chamber. The whole part especially last part when u drop down to find ways to exit is nightmare.
Out of all the Bonus Levels in Prince of Persia: Revelations, this one grew on me the most and now I'm going to be using this to spice up Mallet Island from Devil May Cry; as well as that one area where the Dahaka first chases you that I like to call the Ramparts for a story of mine Update: It turns out that the section where the Dahaka first chases you is called the Southern Passage, but all in all they do look like Ramparts to me seeing how it's literally south of the fortress. I even like the indoor design of this Guard Tower and I think both locations really would fit Mallet Island altogether
Exactly!! I first played POP:R on my cousin's PSP. And many levels in it got burned into my memory. More than a decade later I play warrior within (literally finished it just 2 weeks ago) and I was like (ah! It was fun playing it again even after so many years) But not even once I realised that I skipped so much of fucking content! RU-vid all of sudden suggested me Rival Swords' bonus levels (maybe because now I'm playing T2T and was looking for life upgrade locations; had played Rival Swords on PSP) It boggled my mind seeing so much of content got cut, from the game I didn't even like too much (RS/T2T) so it got me curious and I searched for Revelations bonus levels and here I am. It really feels like Warrior Within is 50% of Revelations. I don't care if people find these levels unnecessary. I wish all this content would've stayed across all ports...i love this game a lot. These bonus levels are bringing back those memories that warrior within couldn't bring back few weeks ago. And I didn't even know why, until now
I don't think they add any lore, considering there arent any cutscenes with voice lines and stuff. However it could be case that they had atleast planned to have some lore. For example the statue chamber is such a massive place, it feels like there has to be some lore behind it.
I think this part is too long. This place is on of the main ones of the game and you go here a lot of times. The game becomes longer of hours in my opinion and it's a boring part.
Is this a psp or ppsspp. I start this game on ppsspp on android and its very hard platforming game. Oh and the hardest bonus level is the stairs puzzle beforr mechanical tower. Do you know xbox arena and challenge mide on pop ww includes bonus level from pop revelations.
What Carlos said is correct. The main problem is that emulator speedruns are always a problem. When there is a better and more accurate emulator, you runs become automatically invalid. Tho PPSSPP is a great emulator already, there is a good chance better emulators will be made (with TAS tools and all that). That said I might do a Rival Swords run soon. Coz that game doesn't lag as much and atleast a temporary leaderboard can be made 🤞
