The Impossible climb was a little disappointing for me, I expected something similar to the path of pain

I agree coming from celeste and hallowknight poplcs platforms was kind fun but really easy. The trap room (supposedly the hardest room) I read on my second try easily.

@@sweetheart6373 took me wayyy more tries than that, but this was also my first metroidvania / platforming game. Im deep into Hollow Knight now and it does make PoP seem a bit easy in comparison. But PoP definitely prepared me for it

@@sweetheart6373 are you talking about the room that you have to take the main elevator down to access, right above the depths? I honestly don't understand how completing that on your 2nd attempt would be possible. In fact, it goes to my main complaint with that room - it's not a platforming challenge at all, it's a Simon Says challenge. Many of the sections are impossible to pass unless you know in advance what is coming, and can pre-position your shadow. The platforming is easy, it's the memorization of the locations of the saws that takes repetition.

@newstandardaccount I mean it is... and it isn't... honestly, the whole room is very standard and predictable for one of these types of challenges. If I hadn't explored 90% of the game and didn't have a good grasp on how the mechanics worked, I easily could have gotten stuck here. But one thing that I learned from bosses was where to put my shade effectively. Making the room easily doable.

It's a breeze compared to Celeste. Which is a good thing, it balances between difficulty and enjoyment. Celeste is just plain sadistic sometimes

The Impossible climb challenge is not as hard as some of these in the video. The archive thing cost me a good 45min

@@Headyrules Actually one of the reasons why I gave up is because I am not the type of player who insist achieving 100% completion, the impossible jump is the last challenge in the game and I felt I already had enough enjoyment and tortures from the game, and I could go straight to fight the final boss, so I gave up after 20 mins of trying. I didn't find the challenges in this clip too hard except for the first one. The endless dodging citadel elevator sawblade challenge room was a nightmare as well, I completed it simply because I accidentally and unintentionally managed to open the hatch on the floor so that I fell below the room, not sure how I did it but I just waited until the sawblades stopped, and then climbed back up to claim the prize. Well, I felt lucky not having spent too much time on it because the prize turned out to be a shitty one.

It doesn't work like that. You have to physically complete the platforming, or the coins go back to their original places.
