The Duke of Edinburgh grills a teacher over a pupil's handwriting, expressing concerns that it is not 'joined up', during a visit to a primary school bombed in WWI with the Queen.
My grandmother always told me “would you do that if the Queen was here?” when my manners weren’t on par as a kid. These kids lived the challenge in the flesh.
@@aaron___6014These are foreigners who barely know the English language let alone who the Royal Family are! School has become a joke nowadays. Absolutely nothing is required of kids, no values are imparted by teachers, and bad behaviour is encouraged because it shows "individuality". And I say this as an ex foreigner myself, who came here in 1990, and witnessed the beginning of the end himself. If you don't come to Britain to be British, why come here at all?
@@shushanto the same thing is happen in my city, loads is African immigrants. And I agree, but in my country they come here because they get so many free benefits. And there are companies founded by their countrymen which help them obtain as many free benefits as they can. So you end up with Africans in free housing with free medical. For example, an immigrant who does not speak English will end up getting a mobility chair over a national.
Kids learn at different stages and in different ways. Can't judge a teacher if a kid still can't write people for all we know the kid has various reasons why.
when are we ever going to get rid of this nonsense? king/queen business? mankind trying to be rid of it since began.. and this? british need to grow up silly crapola
@@Echo126_Nah it's not racist to make the obvious factual observation that white children in England have been ethnically replaced. You're the racist.
@Holy Jones and this is what is wrong with the monarchy. They are just people who were lucky enough to be born royals. The world would be exactly the same if the queen had not existed.
@@baibureh8816 but it wouldnt be the same if her ancestors hadnt ruled britain as monarchs, probably would just be another irrelevent state on the world stage, the life you have today is because of the conquests of her ancestors
@@croikeyaustralianbetamales3432 The only people who benefitted from the monarchy are those within the monarchy. The Queen's crown is filled with jewels stolen from a many different countries. There is not one commonwealth country that is thankful for being colonized.
that poor child at 0:50 is going to one day grow up and realise the horror that she once zoomed around on the floor in front of the very perturbed Queen of England
The queens a G she didn't even flinch! Me in my late 30's would have backed up...lol I got chronic pain and the queen does better than I will by 50 at this rate.
They kinda deserve it. These guys have interfered in the progress of the world for some 300 odd years, looting everything they could get their hands on, to benefit their home islands. De-industrializing India and Malaya to benefit the white parts of the empire. There’s so many more immigrants now, because people are just going where their money went. If that’s not poetic justice, i don’t know what is.

Atleast she aint like what north koreans see everyday. Monday : North Korea Tuesday : Kim Il Sung Wednesday : North Korea Thursday : Kim Jong Il Friday : NK Saturday : Kim Jong Un Sunday : NK
I am surprised that this school is in London. The school doesn't look to be diverse. The only white child in all them scenes was the little redhead girl at the end. Does that really reflect the demographics of London? As a foreigner I am curious is all.
The British empire spanned the whole globe and she was coronated queen of all her empire. So it makes sense for there to be a lot of non-white children in london, the former imperial capital.
@@emmaherron5121 Handwriting has a lot of benefits in cognitive capabilities and thinking, especially when joined. As it allows kids to really immerse themselves in the subject they're writing about. Likewise, I concur that the quality of some of the comedy in this comment is in fact of high enough standard that it appeases to metaphorically adopt the state of the element Au.
They'll probably tell whopping great fibs about it in the dramatisation. Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom is closer to reality than whatever the Crown is supposed to be depicting.
A lot of white children are also not indigenous. And the same goes for apparent "English" adults. Piers Morgan for instance is part Arab, but not English at all. And the Queen was German. Her husband, Greek

The last time was the prorogation of Parliament, she refused to make an exception (the duty of a Sovereign) and like every other time, she refused, so Blair's high court did instead. Which means the high court is Sovereign now. That spider lady, remember? Absolutely disgusting. She presided over the complete take over by an insane religious cult (progressivism) of literally every single institution. Both wings of government, every police force, the NHS, the entire education system including the oldest universities in the world, the *CHURCH* (!), and now the throne itself. She was objectively the worst monarch in history. But because everyone liked her as a person, they turn a blind eye to her massive failure to protect the UK against this disgusting progressive coup.
lol, he wasn't even "disgusted" at the kid, he was more implying the teacher wasn't doing enough - Philip was very dedicated to progress and education so he was likely thinking "dear me, is *this* what they teach the poor children these days?"
Philip would have been right! Most schools don't even teach handwriting at all any more, and even the printing the kids bring home looks awful. Teachers these days don't work nearly as hard as my teachers did. I'm 72. I had some wonderful teachers.
@@tylerguerra2239 I think it is more a matter of those creating the curriculum. However, those are former teachers. So teachers don't have to work as hard now. Back in the sixties I lived with my mother-in-law for two years, and she was always bemoaning the work ethic of the younger teachers. Every generation is taught less and less. Maybe they are too busy teaching them to scoot around the floor. Anyway. The teachers I had, and I am 72, were much better than even my kids had.
Faithful Christian How do you think they were conceived? These state-run indoor-playground, cluttered, chaotic holding-cells for children have been in existence since most of these kids' parents were "in school," and THEY can't hold a pen or write cursive, either.
Well, I don't understand that! Even if students aren't taught something in school that does not mean they can't learn on their own! I learned how to play the piano and how to paint by being self taught. I've never understood students who can find an excuse for not learning. You don't learn only from what is taught to you be someone else. There has to be a natural innate curiosity and a desire to learn. Let's be honest! The real reason these children don't learn is just plain old laziness. God gave everyone a brain; regardless of their background, people are not stupid; but they definitely can be lazy and want to play instead of work. And hand held calculators, home computers, cell phones have exacerbated that laziness. How many young people can do long division by hand without a calculator? And don't tell me they don't need to know the reasoning behind getting answers from a calculator. If you don't know what you are feeding into a machine, then you have absolutely no way to determine if the answer produced by that machine is correct or not. And not being able to write cursive is inexcusable.
