As a retired Marine Engineer I'd say the hull looks like it will ride well and the bow can definitely cut through a chop. Being Aluminum is a plus for lake use. I was thinking how about using the tent/cot in the boat for overnighting.

Dude, check your video. Think the red green is on the front and solid white on back. Red starboard, green port, white 220* running with the red green. White 360 by itself is at anchor light. Any new boat is always a start. You’ll have fun personalizing it to your needs. I have an eight foot inflatable, nine foot Boston whaler squall, and a 16 ton 45 foot two masted money pit... enjoy. 😀

Hello from the Texas Gulf Coast. Nice boat Michael. Just needs a nice trolling motor to go with it. Excellent choice in motor I’m a Honda man myself. Canada Nav. rules must be different in Canada compared to the US. The port and starboard lights go on the front and the white anchor light at the rear of the boat. Can’t wait to see some awesome videos.

Nice, I have a 2000 Pro series 162 Princecraft (16') has a 60 HP Johnson 2 stroke and owned it since new . The hull look's quite similar to yours, mine is is still sound as a bell. The only time there is water in the bilge is when it rains or swimmers get back into the boat. I have towed mine as far west as the Shuswap's and east to northern Sask. several times. Looks like your boat has the flat bottom at the back as does mine, some people say you have to have a deep v hull to run in rough water but I have been caught in some storms (not intentionally) and have had no problem with the flat bottom. Looking forward to some videos and will keep an eye out for you guys.

Great boat,the only thing I’ll do differently is the engine travel arm.Is to high,lower gonna help a lot on the road ,less stress on transom ,trailer and no rotation when travel

You're probably not missing much not having trim. I have the Resorter with a 40hp merc. I find the trim does not affect the boat very much and is defiantly not critical to have. I used to have a bowrider rated max 80hp but I had a 90hp on it. With that boat trim was very important. If the motor was left trimmed down you would only get to about 4000 rpm and the boat would be in a very dangerous condition.

Great video, I'm actually in the process of buying a Yukon BT here in Québec. Your video really helps, it's almost like if I was there to see the boat myself! I wonder, do you think that your seat solution with the treated plywood would work on every seating locations? I'm thinking about doing the driver's seat and the middle-left seat with a similar solution. It's still unclear to me how Princecraft fit their OEM 500$ seat option on the boat.

i am 80 years old and have been around boats for 74 of those years. one thing i have found out there is not one perfect boat, every boat is a compromise, some do this well and some do that well but none do all well, period. honda and yamaha make the best motors in my opinion, but there are a lot of mercs and evenrudes around here in maine, i have owned all of them and they were all good motors if you treat them right and maintain them. they are like a women , the more gentle you are with them the better they will treat you and hang around longer. that boat looks like a great lake fishing boat, but wow for 25 horse that is a large motor but that is the way it is these days with all the government regs. esme looks to me like she wants to drive.

So 13,600 for boat and motor, plus trailer runs around 2000 some places charging 2800 that's 15,6. good price. Doubt I can get it for that now, but gonna see what I can do. Question, is the motor, slow enough for trolling?
