This was my favorite movie when I was little. I never had a chance to watch it since then. Thanks for putting it up. Doubtless you know a good movie when you see it.
How many people here wish that most or all parents/grown ups were like the king? Seriously, if more people believed little kids, bad things would happen much less often in movies. Example; Spirited Away.
Together with his daughter when back from his journey he was all Yes my child i return so lovingly then it just makes me laugh how stern he he with "HERE ...take my horse"
I love how the prince blows a raspberry every time he talks xD "I WANT THEM TO EAT THE DIRTsbbbbbb FROM UNDER MY FINGERNAILSSSSssbbbbbbbbbbbbbb!" And what lovely nails they are too, he should get manis and a pedi for all ten of his nails in total. Including the one, single, solitary nail on each foot, of course.
"father!! Father!!" "Yes, my child, i'm here!!..." then the funny part! "....Hyah!! Take mah horse!!" hahaha the way he says it, it's like "take mah horse bitch!! I OWN YOU"
I find it funny when the King believes her about the goblins. "well, I met a miner's son who told me about something that's a miner's superstition! it must be true, daddy!"
If the king was my dad i'd be all like "I was chased by strange creatures!" "strange creatures?" "yes, a boy I met told me they were goblins!" "BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"we shall do something much nastier than flood their minds!!" He's gonna make them all wear that nasty lion cloth!! *shudders* KYAAAAAAAA!!! : ( Hide yo kids and hide wife and hide yo husbands cause their flashing every body out there!
I'm surprised that with how much Froglip spits, it doesn't raise the water level underground and flush all the goblins (and the human miners) out of the tunnels to the surface. LOL
@KBAFourthtime Actually Agahnim is one of the antagonists that appears in Link to the Past. He seeks to resurrect Gannon in the game he he ultimately does in the end.
The King doesn't seem so surprised about hearing about Airini's Grandmother- he almost seems to know something about her. I wonder what that was all about. I wish they told you more about her history.
Curdy broke the fourth wall! He decided not to phone a friend, and just skipped straight to ask the audience! :) Quick, we must help him figure out Froglip's plan! Is the answer: a) taking over the kingdom c) landscaping b) hosting a baby shower d) knitting fluffy sweaters
I have had night terrors since I was a child. I will wake up and there will be some nasty creature or frightening situation going on in my bedroom. When the princess wakes up with the cats fighting; that has happened to me, and it's NOT FUN!!!
Here's more trivia. According to the book, why does the Goblin Queen wear shoes unlike the rest of the Goblins? A. she has cold feet (literally) B. just to avoid getting them crushed as they are the most sensitive C. she hates feet with what appears to be more than one toe, and she has six.
2:44 - "My horse! My kingdom for a horse!" 6:12 - I'm glad that didn't work actually. I'd have felt sad if the cat, even a goblin-whatsit cat, had been hurt. I do have a soft spot for cats, plus the princess will be fine. I think the cat just wanted to take her away, not kill her, and she could escape by singing to the goblin people.
Did Curdie know Froglip's name just by having secretly listened to Mump and Glump (two minor characters) discuss things about Froglip? Maybe that's how Curdie began to know how to hurt them.
Hm yeah... I'm in agreement. I was a brave munchkin to watch those goblins before. o.o I forgot they were so obsessed with their snot. "-.-; Disgusting... I do love this movie though. ^_^
