Sheesh, they just threw Curdie into a cell! That's some top-class medical treatment. Or maybe it was just a room. I mean, castles usually aren't the most comfortable of lodgings. One of the goblins looked like Shrek...or maybe Shrek's cousin. It was a green one that was pulling rocks away so they could get into the castle cellar.
My fav parts are when the nanny breaks the floor with her mighty pounce, the rocks and stone sound effects throughout the whole movie, and every sound effect for that matter XD ,and the king and curdie flashing gang hand shakes haha at 6:14 , and cant forget the chest licking! WTF!
Their feet are the one spot where goblins are vulnerable. The rest of them is impervious. As for the singing, those big ears are sensitive. The sound of music and singing causes them pain.
Curdie is getting shoved aginst the wall, already weakening and all that soldier does is throw the sword at Curdie so he can catch it instead of saving him? What kind of soldier is he? 4:38- 4:41
when i was little i never caught why the goblin queen wore shoes but now i get it, she has six toes. she's not like the other goblins so she hides it. hahaha!!
fascinating to see how a scrape on the knee knocked him out all night. and even more interesting to see all the guard's inventory is still in the room. even tho, the guards were suposed to be doubled.
that's the way to use the sword! Go for the toes. muhahahaha! Oh wait... you don't even need a sword... just a steal toed boot! Hooray! "so why do we have swords?" "mmnnnmmm?"
Hey, this boy fell down a ton of stairs, cut open his leg, and passed out. Let's just leave him here in the dungeon on some nice cozy hay and do nothing about his wound. Sounds super...
Swords aren't for cutting things they're obviously for bashing peoples toes, you think he would have grabbed a hammer or something! And I like how the king bares a remarkable resemblence to The Burger King, all he needs is his crown!
I love it how Froglip is posed in her room like that. even when I was a kid that was my fav part. xD I noticed, though, that the rocking horse (or w/e) next to the door mysteriously moved while Curdie is like "Stay here" or w/e. Froglip coming in, maybe? hehehe... x3
@sparkling0bubbles IVE SEEN THIS MOVIE A MILLION TIMES WHEN I WAS YOUNGER!!! HOW COME I NEVER CONNECTED THE DOTS THERE!?!? now that im 20 and i see these movies..i realize how messed up some of my child hood movies are -.-
Oh gosh, I don't think I would have realized where that goblin was licking the nanny if I was a kid. But still a freaky part lol and is it just me or did that girl goblin at 4:25 look a lot like that Queen Troll from "A Troll in Central Park"?
I watched closely at that scene - it turns out, the knight who mentioned that the king had been captured was knocked in through the door when the goblins entered. He had already been fighting for a while. the two knights who were drinking together simply sat to the side. So hooray, the editors didn't screw up after all! ^^
If that rapist Prince was in my room I'd be like how do you want to die? Phantom of the Opera or Three Days Grace? How does everyone in the castle know the song?
@KyleProGamer No, Peter Murray did the voice for Curdie, and I think Paul Keating did his singing. Besides, I'm sure Haley Joel Osment was too young for the role.
What Forging Style/material are those made of? I can see a Harabuk those weight, but I think the originals were just three pounds for a short sword, or is that for a Poniard?
