Princess Anne was mature and responsible since a young age. Very much like her mother Queen Elizabeth.

Princess Anne is a wonderful mixture of her Mother and her Father, a hard working member of our Royal family. My prayers are with her and all the Royal family at this sad time.

I love Princess Anne, shes like the silent reflection of her mother - she’s says so little, asks for so little yet does so much - quietly, diligently and gracefully, with huge commitment and constancy. She’s very witty yet loving like her mother and fiercely intelligent - a master at sussing out the likes of Markle in an instant, and outmanoeuvring her. She’s an unsung heroine, the anchor of the Royal family and monarchy after the Queen. People will only fully appreciate what she has done once she too is gone… but long may she be with us.

She was and has always been my favorite royal because she did what she wanted and pushed the boundaries. She is a true royal but more so is very down to earth.

Honest, direct, down to earth with a sense of humour and the ridiculous, a real humanity in a sea of hazards. A quite remarkable woman with the brave hearted approach to all that came her way. She watched, she learned and then practiced it all in daily service. I imagine doing all of that when I feel that life is a bit tough on me….. nurture and nature combined. Thank you, that was quite something. We have seen that all played out in the past days of mourning for the death of our beloved Queen. It’s clear how close was the relationship between Princess Anne and her monarch…her mother. Love, respect and honour to the end.

I loved Princess Anne when I was a kid. I named my Wire-Haired Fox Terrier puppy after her. Unfortunately Princess was quite wild and she ran into the street and slammed into the side of the tire of a car that was driving past our house and she got slammed into the curb. My father came home and took her to the vet's and he called later that night to tell us she had some really bad internal injuries and would need massive surgery. The decision was left to me and I decided to have her put down. She would have been months recovering, if she could and it was also very expensive. My parents said they'd pay for it but I couldn't put a puppy through all that pain and she might never be the same. I got up from the dinner table and went into the bathroom and threw up. I still cry today and I am 76. I wasn't sure I'd made the right decision, but I didn't want her to be in anymore pain and possibly unable to run and play like a puppy should...just couldn't do it to her. I cry to this day when I think of her. I haven't owned another dog. I did adopt many cats over the last decades and am on my last one now. He turned 15 yo this June and he was diagnosed with kidney disease earlier in the year and was on meds for a month and has been on k/d dry food for cats with kidney disease. I make sure he drinks lots of water. So far, so good...he's holding his own. I want him to enjoy his life and have a peaceful death at home if possible. He'll be my last pet. I don't want to die and leave my family having to take care of an animal. Hopefully, if I go to Heaven, I'll get to see all my pets again...to me, that would really be Heaven.

I have to admire the Princess Royal...She is her Mother/Father rolled into one! The loyalty she has shown over the years and the amount of work/man hours Princess Anne has put in, is amazing. Super intelligent and just so classy, unlike some of the rabble surrounding her. To see her outside Balmoral inspecting the publics flowers and cards, and at the arrival of the coffin at Holyrood Palace was the act of a daughter who despite being broken hearted just acted with such dignity. To see her smile and give a little wave to the public as she returned into Balmoral Castle, was just so classy.

My heart breaks for the Royal family💔 The pain they must be feeling she was their mother, grandmother and always there. I cried on her passing and when I saw Princess Royal curtsy as her coffin went pass. It is a vision that I will never forget ♥️ I don’t think we truly understand what sacrifices they make for country, the world. ATM they are showing their strength, unity, love and the Queen would be proud of them all💗 King Charles lll has got this! They are trained and guided from a young age.

Calm, thoughtful, smart, no-nonsense, and definitely not an attention seeker, the Princess Royal carries out a large slate of royal duties. Her daughter, Zara, has said it’s not unusual for her mother to run in from a formal evening engagement, trade her shoes for a pair of Wellies and dash outside to care for the chickens.

It is a comfort to listen to Princess Anne. I receive, in my heart, the quality of the traits her mother possessed from her as well. I’m American so I see from a distance. But , Im a believer in the King of the Universe who I serve. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth looked for spiritual guidance and her light reached many in the furtherest regions of the globe.

Princess Anne should have been our Queen. I wish, she would have been Queen, there is something very real, genuine but also hard working and a sense of duty that a monarch needs to have. You rarely heard about her, but she was always working. Where Charles, has been in and out of the news a lot and from what I understand, expects everything from his bath to be run and as we saw in his signing of the proclamation, he can;t even move light objects on tables. As a British Subject, i'll never feel comfortable him being monarch. The Royal family are with privilege, but I feel Charles indulges in it. Something I never felt from Anne or the Queen.

Love you Princess Anne, my elderly Mother is also just lost her mobility and never seen a doctor for years to be found collapsed and lay their all night, after doing her shopping on her own the day before went through covid alone ( as she did not do computors or internet , she met you once at her work place in Barnsley and said you were so beautiful and your skin was amazing, she never said that about her daughters lol My middle name is Ann
