I loved Prince Philip. He was honest and spoke his mind. He made the Queen laugh all their lives together. I truly believed they really loved each other.
I love how Anne gets her own points across and when she's done simply says "Moving on.." with that kind of smiling steely look her late mother the Queen had. Anne would have made a marvelous Queen. Pragmatic, no nonsense and yet very caring and conscious of her duty.
I'm American and I think she is an amazingly awesome woman!! Princess Anne is the epitome of what I think of royalty...service, pride & loyalty to country.
A brilliant interview. She speaks forthrightly and sincerely, nothing put on. Lots of wisdom and common sense. And what a great interviewer Chris Ship is. Why don't we see more of him? He is measured, calm and very pleasant.
Princess Anne is a class act, not above jumping on the London Underground to get to an engagement, she's on a different level to any of her brothers, she's a no nonsense sort of person and not afraid to tell it how it is. She embodies so much of what Queen Elizabeth (and Prince Philip) stood for.
He was and still is having a great impact on the English nation. He was a figure to respect. Yet he was approachable, kind and so loved by the Queen and nation for his grit, humour and love of duty.❤❤❤
Love Princess Anne. She speaks eloquently and very direct. Will not allow herself to be pushed to say anything she doesn't want to say. You can tell she loved her father very much.
Any reporter is out of his or her depth when asking the Princess Royal impertinent questions. Princess Anne has the ability to always politely best anyone when engaging in a jousting with words. That is just her gift1 She is very intelligent both academically and she possess a huge amount of emotional intelligence and she has a great command of the English language.

As a young Scout in Canada, I earned a DoE Silver and was privileged -- along with many others -- to have it presented personally by the Duke. It was one of the highlights of my life. Then-Princess Elizabeth first met Philip when he was 17, and she was 13 when he acted as escort for the future Queen and Princess Margaret when their parents visited Britannia Naval college in Dartmouth, which he was attending. I recall one biographer wrote: "Philip was the only man (the Queen) ever wanted. There were other prospects, but she only ever wanted him." She chose well.
Prince Philip was a man of character and he was there for the late Queen Elizabeth. Then he found is role and The Duke of Edinburgh Award was his. He changed so many lives. He was a wonderful man who I regard with high respect.
The Duke of Edinburgh was one of my favourite royals. I saw him as kind, warm and funny with a sparkling sense of humour. He was an inspiration to many. A huge support to the Queen and I'm sure the rest of his family.
Credit to the interviewer for the flow of conversation. Princess Anne knew her father so well, there is no doubting her love and respect for her father and his achievements.
Princess Anne embodies pure classicism and elegance. I feel she has just been freshly plucked out of the first Elizabethan age and put amongst us. Such a beautiful and intelligent presence she radiates.
Princess Anne, Prince Philip, and Prince Harry were my favorite royals. Princess Anne is no lightweight. She worked her way to championship-level horsemanship, always was true to herself, and is actually FUNNY. I love when she's got her humor on full display. I wish in this case that succession passed through the females because what a QUEEN this lady would make!

I have always admired her, I have had few woman friends in my life that have been marvellous mentors. Princess Anne would be a fantastic Mentor to young women.

She has a connection to the World Community that Her Mother, The Queen relied on and Princess Anne manages to keep it all managed in a humble and dignified manner. She is absolutely, hands down my favorite person in the 🌎.
I have always loved and respected her. I saw the caring side of her during her Mother’s death. Please have my sympathies Princess Anne. I am glad the king has the shoulders of a loving and caring sister to lean on during his reign. Stay blessed.
I wouldn't say Princess Anne is under appreciated at all. The media don't report on her duties as that doesn't bring the interest that controversy from two rather vile ex Royal and his narcissistic wife create on a regular basis. I doubt Princess Anne would welcome more media attention as she was relentlessly criticised by the media in her earlier years. Princess Anne is widely admired and respected for her straight forward pragmatic sensible approach to life. I don't think there can be anyone who has anything but liking and admiration for her.
I think he set a tremendous example of manhood. In his devotion to his wife, and his love and support for his wife who happened to be a career woman as well as a queen, in his masculinity, his unabashed masculinity while at the same time dedicating himself to his wife. I love when he bows down to her at the coronation and pledges himself to her, and I love again when he gets up and kisses his bride on the cheek in loving support. It’s an interesting balancing act, to walk two steps behind your wife, to sign up for that which many proud and capable men might think in that day and age they wouldn’t want to do, and choosing to do so out of love and respect, And seeing how being her life’s partner was how he could best serve his country and fulfill his role as a husband and father, set a wonderful example of what a man can be.

I have always like Princess Anne, very confident without any airs. She is very dignified. When she named her daughter Zara, I asked my husband if our baby was a girl, if he would be ok with Zara. Well, we had a beautiful boy, so Zara was never to be 😊
Princess Anne is very beautiful, she is truly her mother’s daughter , smart, strong, dedicated, loyal, kind and fair. I’m pretty sure she’s going to help Princess Catherine get ready for her role of Queen so when she becomes queen, she’ll be more than ready.

Princess Royal seems like an excellent mixture of both her parents. I agree she would make a good queen, but she certainly seems to be a great help to Charles, so maybe that was always her destiny.
Phillip had a sad childhood. His dad was actually the King of Greece at one time until he was overthrown and then abandoned Phillip and his mom. His mother is actually buried on Mount Olive, where she wanted to be buried, thanks to the efforts of Phillip. *It was actually Phillips grandfather who was king. But his father did still abandoned his mother and him.
Unfortunately I doubt that will ever happen. She's too.private and especially after her nephew's recent narcissistic tome, the idea of writing books probably leaves A sour taste in the family's mouths
Always had the utmost respect for the Princess Royal. She has always been a true chip off both old blocks .. and her constant, unending service to the crown and country is too often disregarded.
I look up to Princess Anne as the most hardworking member of the royal family especially as the founder of "Save the Children"... It has a global impact...
Actually statistics prove that the King has done more engagements than any other royal, in the last ten years, and that's aside from his multiple other duties. Anne has also done a large number of engagements during that period. She is an excellent woman.
Notice how forthcoming, thoughtful, and intelligent she is when not asked silly or personal questions. She might well ask this interviewer, "where have you been all my life?".

Probably the most down to earth member of the Royal Family. Perhaps a shame the Princess Royal will never be Queen Anne II, although I'm sure she would disagree!
