For years I have admired the Princess Royal. Princess Anne has been the backbone of the Royals. She is like her mother, gracious but perceptive, she is so like her father, abrupt but does not suffer fools. Princess Anne is a very hard worker. It must have been hard for her to see her siblings marry wives that were not as dedicated as she is.😢😢

Anne was a credit to her mother and I'm sure she appreciated and loved her daughter for all she did. Anne does seem to be the common denominator in all the relationships but I think it was because she was the most normal one and the others didn't want to be. She was like her mom in that she understood duty, her place as a royal, and never wavered. She deserves a lot of respect and thanks.

I'm very pleased to hear that Ann had a change of heart about Diana. She didn't understand how difficult the whole royal business/life was for Diana. Our Princess Royal is a straight talking no nonsense practical woman. Because of this attitude she has always rubbed people up the wrong way, she is very much like her father Prince Philip. But she has always been very hard working. One thing I think will always be true, HRH The Princess Royal's hats are fabulous! It's particularly wonderful to see her on horseback in full military gear riding with her troops on parade. The 18th-century style military hat she dons is really wonderful and brings up thoughts of the days when Britain ruled the seas. I just wish she could use it more often to block Andrew's fat and spoiled face. They are such diametric opposites it's a wonder they are even siblings. But all this is flummery compared to the incessant work schedule she keeps, seeking nothing for herself, only for the causes she has adopted and her sincere wishes for the British public.

Anne is very much respected, and loved, and rightly so. But it seems Anne could be prickly too, sticking with the “rules” rather than being as flexible. I think she has bent more as she’s aged. Still admire her, along with most Britons, I imagine! I’m in Canada. 🇨🇦

I have always admired Princess Anne's commitment and work ethic as a member of the royal family. She takes after her mother, the late queen, in her dedication to fulfilling her duties. She is also human, so there are people and situations which will irritate her and she has a right to speak her mind about them. It must be difficult as a royal to remain aloof, show little emotion, and to have so many restrictions concerning protocol. She has conducted herself in a totally appropriate manner, I think. Not that my opinion matters much! 😊

It sounds like how Princess Diana felt. Unsupportive, unloved by the family. She was young & Charles was much older. He 32 & she 20. They wanted heirs. Charles should have fought harder for the woman he really loved. It wasn't fair, to him or Diana.

I am happy that Anne saw MeGain Markle for what she really was and is. Harry has no one to blame, but himself for this terrible choice. I heard that Anne traveled to personally congratulate Torvil and Dean for their legendary Bolero win at the Olympics. The pair had no idea she was waiting for them. What impressed me was her humility. She did not fuss at the delay but waited very patiently for she had come to honor them not to glorify herself. When word finally caught up to the skaters, they hastened to meet up and all drank champagne from paper cups. That is a princess royal.
