No,not really..My youngest daughter went to a catholic school, and were taught to sit still and BEHAVE while in Church..I got MANY compliments from older people on how well behaved she was..especially , when other children wiggled, made noise, and had toys to play wiith... Manners should be taught at a young age. My daughter is now 28 and has very good manners and very respectful of elders ..and well liked at work.

I've seen plenty of pictures of George and Charlotte having loads of fun with their parents. Good parents also teach their children manners, and that's exactly what you are seeing.

Sorry to hear that Robert. The same happened to me but it was with my grandfather. I was so close to him, all I knew is that he was very ill in the hospital. I saw him for the last time. I did not know he was going to die a week later. I was 8 years old. But the images of my dad face, and saw him cry so much that cold rainy morning stuck with me for the test of my life. I asked to see grandfather many times they finally told me he padt away. But that was weeks after he died. I guess in my mind I kind of knew why everyone was crying one day and wearing black clothes. This was in the 70s. I hope to find peace to know that your mom did it to protect you, but I agree you should have been there. Take care

@Where there is Love sorry to hear that, but every event happens in different ways. And depends how it is handle when there is a child present at church.. there are many things to take into consideration, the family needs to get involve and preparation is needed ahead of.time if the child is going to church. The impact of going to a church is not exactly the same as going to see a grave, someone being buried. That is traumatic.

What upset us in Australia, England , Canada and NZ is that the poppy is only used in the commonwealth counties. Meghan though upstaging the Queen would get her the attention she craves. Poppies grew on the battlefields of Belgium and France in World War I. Many Australian soldiers died there during the war. The poppy sends a message about remembering people who have died in wars. We wear a poppie on ANZAC Day and Remembrance Day to say 'thank you for your service'. Shows she is nothing but a nasty bitch.
