Ship tour of Princess Cruises Island Princess filmed July 2023.
Built 2001, Island Princess is one of the older ships in the fleet and is on the smaller scale at just under 92,000 GT

Thank you for your lovely comment, Island is lovely, plus on the carpet in the cabin hallways, there’s red or green dots so you know which side of the ship you’re on 👍🏼 have a great cruise xx

Thank you for the "Best" tour of the Island Princess that I have ever had the pleasure to watch. You shared little details that I had never seen before, and walked through her at such a nice pace that it was easy to truly see her loveliness. Question .. If I organize a small meet & greet with about a dozen people, do you think the Good Spirits lounge would work? TIA Kathryn🛳🌺

Hi Katherine, thank you so much for this lovely review 🥰 We had a meet and greet in the Wheelhouse, that worked perfectly as the bar wasn’t open and the venue a little quieter then good spirits, though GS bar is a super option if only a few going. Xx

We were on this cruise and had a fantastic holiday. The ship was great and enjoyed not having to walk far to get to places. The weather really made it a 10/10. We were also surprised on how fast the wifi was as on enchanted last year it was non-existent.

Just booked our Island Princess cruise for June 2024! Thank you so much for telling us where to get specialty coffee drinks……I was having a nervous breakdown when I saw there was no International Cafe!!!!

I love international cafe, but it really didn’t bother us not having one. We live this ship, yes she’s older, but she has a great vibe and we’d definitely sail on her again 👍🏼

Great video! Thanks for sharing. Noticed at 7:07 what appears to be the large ship models in stock in the shop? They never used to do these for Island/Coral so hoping that’s what they are and they’ll be in stock for my upcoming Island cruise! 🛳️

This was one of the best ship tours I’ve seen! Thanks… quick question, I’ll be on the ship in November. I see the indoor pool but do you know if it’s heated? At my age it’s the best physical therapy I can get! Thanks again!!

Thank you for your comments, the indoor pool is not hot heated, it’s just like a standard indoor pool temp, but the jacuzzis are hot 👍🏼

Definitely older style cruise decor but 💯 better than a Premier Inn!! Larger with more space than on many newer cruise ships… give it a go!!

I think the thing is that you’re comparing a new ship with an old one. The Beyond decor is very different to say the Constellation which is a ship of a similar age. The new cabins on the newest Princess ships are also lovely- take a look at some of our other videos - even p$o Arvia or Iona… TBH nothing really beats Celebrity for me but I just really dislike the Virtual Balconies 😂

Just came back from the Island Princess. I like older/smaller cruise ships, but this one was just furnished "wrong". The massive staircase in the Atrium, must be removed to not only make room for more guests, who will be having a drink at happy hour, but be able to see musicians by ALL! (As it is, musicians nor sitting guests can see each other!) This video (as most others) avoid showing the humongous marble stairway, because it's sooooo out of proportion.

Yes, the voice to text does no spell buffet the right way. For some reason it always spells it Buffay. Try it yourself. No worries no one else really cares. I’m glad it makes you feel better to correct people.@@David-ll9qx
