I think Harry was too in love!! Megan not so much - she just wanted a title! Sorry to say but this reminds me of "Lady" Diana. Had Charles dated Diana longer he would have seen how deeply disturbed Diana was. And Diana would have seen how much she truly loathed Charles and the royals but Diana too wanted a title. William was a confidante of Diana, but Harry didn't have this relationship with her as he was too young. William was closer to his mother. Diana didn't take people's nonsense lying down. She was wonderful to the working class and everyday day person that was Ingrid and her circle don't and never have understood, she truly had an aura, I see the same with Prince and Princess of Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Harry has been a spiteful, vengeful child since 12 years of age and has never developed beyond this. Meghan was respectful, and good friends with the Queen. H&M and Archie kept in touch with QE2 via zoom. QE2 sent Archie, from UK to LA, the sandwich maker he wanted for his birthday. MH regularly had zoom calls with QE2 and Phillip, and Meg telephoned the Queen’s direct line. They visited QE2 in her private rooms, LILIBET crawled over and hugged the Queen’s ankles, and Archie was doing Chivalrous bows, QE2 complimented their well behaved children. Disrespected the Queen, is one sure way to identify a troll. Another is ‘they stole the Queens name’. In fact QE2 gave her permission and just like any grandmother, was happy to have a grand child named after her. LILIBET is a common name in UK and Welch history, and as a nickname for Elizabeth.

Princess Diana was a monarchist as daughter of the 8th Earl Spencer. Her maternal grandmother Lady Fermoy was a lady-in-waiting to both Elizabeth, the Queen Mother and her daughter Queen Elizabeth II. This made Diana a top choice to marry into the royal family although, the Queen wanted her to marry Prince Andrew instead. Diana never wanted to be cast off by the royal family after her divorce or lose her HRH title. She wanted Harry to be a support for William when he became king. Despite her marital troubles with Prince Charles, she never spoke ill of the Queen. I agree that she would have disliked Meghan. In addition, Meghan would have disliked Diana because she would not want Harry to listen to anyone except Meghan. Meghan and Diana would have clashed like two bulls in the ring.

There are many many photographs of King Charles playing with his children and being affectionate. He spent as much time as Diana did with the children. Diana was very good at being photographed and seen being a beautiful kind and fun person (which she was ) but she could also be vile to people when she chose . I think Ingrid is forgetting Harry had no intention of leaving the Royal Family. Remember the engagement interview, and then in Oprah’s interview, when she asked Harry directly would he have left if it hadn’t been for Megan, and he said no, he wouldn’t have left.

Harry's very happy in California?!! Does he look happy to you? He's looked more and more miserable since his wedding. He has this permanent scowl on his face. He spends his days retaliating, suing, complaining. This is not a happy man, it's a broken man. Even being a father hasn't changed his attitude. It tells you everything you need to know.

Diana was overly emotional and manipulative insecure person. Sparry has her temperament and he lacks intelligence and no self awareness. If has been born to an ordinary working family he would have had to work at a young age to help finance his family. Charles was a very loving involved parent in his off time but like anyone else he had a job. Meg was spoiled as a child too so they have that in common, they are both brats.

Ingrd Seward is being soooo diplomatic! As a mother of two sons; I do not think that Diana would have approved of Meghan. Harry would have listened to his mother (imo) Both Diana and Charles were raised in dysfunctional families. That does not mean that their parents did not love them. But the family structure was dysfunctional in both families. Both of their upbringings left them unable to view or "feel" the other one's angst over their relationship. I blame Charles more than Diana because of his age, life experiences and his constant talking about psychology {geesh!} Heal yourself! However, Diana made her own choices that did not help the marriage. Also, Camilla should not have been so willing to confide in Charles and vice versa. Any newly married (young) bride would feel threatened by an older woman who was hovering around her new husband.

I would agree with most of the comments shared by others in that Diana have done everything in her power to stop this union. However, we need to address this situation . Why I do think that it may have helped somewhat. Now it has reached the leve where it can not be ignored. The monarchy MUST HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE FOR THEIR ATTACK ON THE ROYAL FAMILY. Failure to stop this attack on the monarchy will destroy it. It has always been Meghan's quest to destroy the monarchy at any cost.
