We had such a great time on this vacation. Everything was seen from fresh eyes! We experienced the vastness of the beach through Dumpy's liberated viewpoint. It was pretty special.
OMG, she is adorable. Quint is definitely in love with her and it’s sooo sweet to see! Princess Dumpy really hit the lottery with her new home and daddy.
I am so happy this little nugget, Princess Dumpy, was found by such a wonderful young man and was welcomed into a fabulous family. It shows how love and patience can transform a frightened dog. I think he is obsessed with her! LOL I think they needed each other. They are cute together, for sure. We used to think she was ancient but she acts like a puppy, now! Except, of course, when she sleeps for hours on end. Haha.
You and Clem Daddy raised two beautiful boys!! You can tell they both have a heart of gold. And you guys as a family have really grown and have overcome a lot!!! This is so heart melting! Princess Dumpy is living her best life now, and has a fantastic dad! She looks like she may have been in a cage in a puppy mill, and when she got too old, they just discarded her. You not only saved her life, but she is so happy, and I can tell she lights up you guys life. Just what I needed to see today to make me feel happiness!

Look at her go now! I love her little skips and jumps and hops... and it is amazing at how fast she can run now that your family has helped her and that she has had some time to heal. Quint and Dumpy are quite a pair! And, I'm glad they have each other. Thanks for sharing more moments with us.
Thanks, Michelle! She can really move, now. Quint and I just picked out a new harness for her. She does not tolerate a collar and leash (she goes berserk) and when she decides to run, she runs fast!!! She is getting used to the vest/harness and seems to almost fancy it, now. Quint is hilarious going on a walk with her. Unlike our husky, she hardly moves. LOL He stood outside with her for about 45 minutes one evening and she walked only one sidewalk square's length. I am thinking that because she was overweight , had really long nails and tended to walk I circles when you found her that she was confined in a very small cage for a very long time - years perhaps. Thank God she was released and thank God you found her and gave her a forever home.She is finally getting the love and life she deserves 🐕💕
Exactly, I wondered the same thing. It's hard to imagine the life she may have endured. Sweet girl - dogs deserve so much more than what this girl probably got. Fortunately, animals seem to live in the present and her present looks pretty awesome!
That is very interesting, Cathy. I had never considered her feet were urine scalded. Clearly, they were infected but that cleared very quickly after bathing her in antibacterial dog shampoo. Thanks for rescuing the little soul! Hope your husky is taking the new addition all in his stride. Swimming very good. Can see she's really rejuvenated over mths. Health-wise. Running in rain. Joyful. So sweet.

The bond between these two are amazing. I'm so happy that he found her. She is living a second life and so much love in the family has changed her so much. Thanks for your thoughtful and kind comment. We are having ball with the newest addition to our family. All of us love her, including Cole and Charisma. Cole and Charisma are in the video (briefly) on the sunset boat cruise. Most of the video footage I take of them I give to them for their channel. Plus, those 2 love birds sometimes skip away for time by themselves and have their own adventures. Gotta love that!
