@liliannendollobangue8497 You obviously have never had cancer. Preventative chemo is prescribed when the odds of your cancer returning at some stage are high. That's why I've had preventative chemo, and that's why Princess Catherine is having preventative chemo.

@@liliannendollobangue8497..Princess Catherine said that when she had the surgery , the report came back that she had cancer. She said she was getting recommended treatment. I'm not quoting her. No one goes through chemotherapy unless they need it.

@liliannendollobangue8497 You've obviously never had cancer. Some patients who have been diagnosed with cancer are prescribed preventative chemo when the odds of the cancer returning are high. That's why I was prescribed preventative chemo, and that's why Princess Catherine has been prescribed preventative chemo. I can speak on this matter because of the knowledge I've gained by being diagnosed and treated for cancer twice since 2016.

Please note - PRINCESS CATHERINE IS THE COLONEL OF THE IRISH GUARDS. SHE WAS THERE TO TAKE THEIR SALUTE! Her role as Colonel was why she made such an effort to be there. She stood up at the window whenever they passed + saluted them at the end. She was there for them, as William was for the Welsh Guards, Edward for the Scottish Guards + Princess Ann for her regiment.

“Diminished” is a grossly misleading and disrespectful term. Melissa Murray displays the typical American lack of proper appreciation for the role and importance of the Royal Family. They may be fewer in number, but that is due to a conscious decision by His Majesty King Charles III to scale down the extravagance in sensitivity to current public sentiment. Their place in the British zeitgeist is as powerful as it is enduring, especially now that the King and the Princess of Wales are facing respective challenges from cancer. Their courage, poise, and mindfulness of duty in this difficult time is an inspiration to the British people. Case in point: the reason Catherine made a particular effort to be present at the Trooping of the Colours is that, as the Colonel of the Irish Guards, it is her role to take their salute during this event. She had already been forced to miss the final rehearsal-called the Colonel’s Review-due to her treatments and so she was determined to be present for the actual ceremony. Long live the Princess of Wales!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 God save the King!👑 🇬🇧

It used to be when you reached 5 years of no signs of the cancer spreading they would declare you cured. Then they found out it can hide out for *decades* and come swooping out of its hiding place and show up. My sister's neighbor had her breast cancer return after over 20 years. That time it resulted in her death. We all know it can be hiding somewhere and suddenly come back. My sister had breast cancer and as she told me after my surgery when I expressed a fear of that, "Welcome to the wonderful world of cancer. From now on way in the back of your mind you will have that question. Sometimes it will be not so far back, but you learn to live with it. Not ever being completely sure is just part of the process."

Cancer can be an unpredictable enemy. The Princess is but a few years younger than when my mother was taken. I don't know what the NHS physicians told my father, but he told us nothing. School released my younger brother and me to go play in Hyde Park; at lunchtime, they lowered the boom. Don't do that to kids.

She had lymphoma all through her body. The biopsy was in Feb. and she died in October. She refused chemo and resumed her life just like it was just a thing. I thought that was very brave of her.

Catherine looked absolutely stunning I’m impressed by her courage and King Charles courage to be at the celebration. In the last 4 years I’ve lost my grandmother to cancer, my aunt is still recovering from breast cancer, my cousin just recovering from cancer. Also, have another cousin husband die from cancer 2 weeks ago and it’s very difficult when you see loved ones going through an illness like cancer or any other illness. So I’m glade to princes Catherine doing well.

I feel so very proud of both Princess Catherine Of Wales & King Charles! They’re both fighting a horrible disease, cancer & both have to be so careful about germs of any kind bc of how easy they can get sicker with the diminished WBC! They didn’t necessarily have to be there & everyone I’m sure would have understood completely especially they’re ENTIRE COUNTRY ! As a cancer survivor I both ADMIRE AND TYVM BOTH OF YOU FOR SHOWING THE WORLD THAT THIS IS SOMETHING ANYONE CAN GET & it’s SO VERY HARD SOMETIMES to get out of bed😢! Both not only got out of bed but they turned out for their BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY THE WORLD THE CANCER PTS AND SURVIVORS OF THE WORLD AND THEY SHOWED UP FOR THEMSELVES!!! I LOVE LOVE THIS ROYAL FAMILY!!! No drama going on on that balcony just love & adoration for their country their family for LIFE!!! My BEST WISHES TO ALL OF U ESPECIALLY TO U KING CHARLES & PRINCESS CATHERINE

King has cancer and is getting treatment as well. Kate who is just a princess, her health) treatment is top secret while king's health is public knowledge. Still weird.
