Yes she was backed into a corner but the king is out of action because he also has cancer and Will and Kate where stepping up. I think we can all understand now why the Queen's motto was never complain never explain - for situations like this one. They said she had surgery .. they said she would only be coming back after Easter and the world went mad with conspiracy theories on why .. why .. why .. She needs to tell us. She was bullied into this video no question about it to quell the craziness that was going on. The media will never learn .. they did it with Diana , they did it with Meghan and now Katherine. People never learn. I remember when Chadwick Boseman posted a video of himself and he looked unwell, everyone was roasting him. A month later, he passed away and everyone was shocked and felt terrible for the jokes they made. It’s a cycle. We never know what someone is going through. Be kind.

Just to clarify, the Princess was not bullied into making the announcement. She had decided a couple of weeks ago to do this. The original statement said she’d be back after Easter. She needed to make the statement in order to clarify the situation about her not coming back to public duties when originally expected. She in no way owed us any more health information. She is entitled like everyone else to privacy and that includes medical privacy, whether we pay for them or not.

I wouldn't wish any illness on anyone but I still can't understand this sympthy for this one person. Everyday people are diagnosed with cancer, this is not something new. Been a future queen doesn't eliminate you from any illness. The public was happy when Meghan and Harry was forced out of the royal family, they got hardly any sympathy. Why are people obsessed with her being called Catherine and not Kate??!! She was known as Kate for yearsssss. Isn’t Kate grand or posh enough now she’s a Pwincess? Very sad news, also because - as someone who watched Diana die (on TV) and see William & Harry left without a mum at a young age.. for me to have lost my mum when I was 25 and my brother was 15.. regardless of their "privilege or wealth or position as Royals" I don't wish for any child to lose their mother young. I just hope she gets through this. also it brings to the forefront that this happens to others and it's a terrible thing no matter who you are. Get well soon, Kate.
