Anthropology books, academic press ones, are always so hard to understand. I always needed a dictionary and I like to think I have a large vocabulary. Will always remember “uxorilocal”

@The History Shelf Byzantine Matters, Swindled, Hamburgers in Paradise, The Last Utopians, Saint Patrick Retold, The City-State of Boston, The Dictionary Wars, The Life of Saint Teresa of Avila, Plants That Cure, Chaucer, The Gull Next Door, Digging Deeper. If the books arrive in time I will add St Patrick & Byzantine books to 1st quarter of Histor-a-thon. The book off my shelf may not be all that good - so far reading like a stuffy, boring grad student paper. (The Druids). Thanks again for letting us know about PUP sale.

Thank you for your PUP bookhaul video. Two other Zone books (not in this sale) you may enjoy are 'The Decadent Reader' (1000+ pgs) and 'The Libertine Reader'(1300+ pgs), both with very artsy, french flap covers. Check them out when you have the opportunity.
