based on the season finale I can picture twilight, post-mane 6 deaths, going back to starswirl's original time travel spell, using an aging spell to disguise as her younger self, and hanging out with her friends while her past self isn't around, struggling to contain her feelings. Ideally this would be self-fulfilling just like the episode where she first uses it, so it had always happened, but nobody ever noticed.

What's this? Prince did a song which is, while still a booming song, is not fast paced and actually a ballad? Oh hell yes! All my yes!

I can only imagine her and Discord becoming even closer when that time comes.

This song makes me fucking cry every time.. The part when the mane 6 come back for a moment, you can physically *feel* the power with it. As a guitar player.. The feeling that moment gives is indescribable. Conveying power like that is really rare.

I deal with depression and deal with autism, I have had even thoughts of suicide here and there, even today I fight it all off, and this song makes me feel like I can keep going despite these thoughts flooding my brain and adding up my losses over my gains, I could not help but to sing and crack a smile to this song, it feels inspiring to keep going..Somehow.

This song makes me really emotional and helps me so much as I can relate to it in a very deep way. Today I was feeling like absolute shit as my depression is extremely exhausting for me. But then I hear this song, and it gives me hope every time I listen to it. Thank you for making amazing, inspirational music. ❤️

Why am I rewatching this yet again? All I do is tear up. This is such a bittersweet song and it definitely earns its album title, being somehow both a lighter and yet darker Reimagining of Remembrance. Darker because it seems Twilight has no one but lighter because she is refusing to give into her depression.

I love this song. I come back to this when I feel like just giving up. It reminds me to take a step back. And that maybe I'm reaching out to not light but darkness. Candles in the rain... Burning bright til we're snuffed out. Soumds like we're just persevering through all the pain that life gives in order to reach for the reward at the end of a long dark tunnel. Remembrance much? Although I think I like this version more (unless this is like a prequel) 😃 I needed more emotional and metalcore stuff. This is a really epic collab. This song really speaks to me as well Prince and I'll tell you why... As I began my transition to womanhood earlier (I'm transgender) I've embraced a monastic way of life. I pray and meditate every single day. While it's working wonders for my psyche and stability during this turbulent point in my life, what with my brain being rewired and my older "male" memories fading into the abyss, I often have trouble figuring out where I'm heading. But I know this has to be done. I know I have to keep going. I know I have to see that better tomorrow.... Even if I have to be alone right now...
