Actually this is great; I've started work on this area of my voice and now I know I'm on the right track. So far I can get through about half of the exercise. Most of the explanations on yt just don't work for me, though there could also be an element of my voice just having got good enough to start on this stuff. Thanks!
@@progkibble it was really just having not properly hammered in the key to do it in. Originally I was going to do that and the previous demonstration in a single take, which is tricky because they are in different keys and I did not wanna interrupt the flow of the video by giving myself a reference note before jumping into it.
@@VoiceStudioEast Admirable :) Thankyou again, I’ve slowly come around to this approach to singing. Struggled all my life as a “bass” and heard all the advice there is. Its only since I’ve listened to you and read about CVT that I feel like I know what I’m doing and had my first taste of singing my favourite songs like I’ve always wanted. It’s helping my friends and the choirs I conduct too. You should have heard the difference in my Male voice choir!
