What I really like is that Raian and Ohma are like yin and yang, because they had different problems when Shen introduced both the flow/point of power, and principles. Ohma needed better principles while Raian was shown to always have amazing movements, and Raian needed to learn the flow/points of power that Ohma already knew from the Niko style
in chap 37 Kazuo said (talking about Ryuki) "he's not a bad person, but at the same time, he's not a good person, either. He's a Blank Slate. And because he's a blank slate those of us around him will determine what he becomes". For me Shen is this kind of person too
Yeah, though, I think it's somewhat different with Wulong. He is the influence on everyone else... since basically everything comes down to the choices he makes. I have a video about the topic "Why He was always the villain." I specifically highlighted his influence, though I do stretch a few details. If Shen is influenced by anything... it's mostly himself (his memories or otherwise). That's why I think his different from Ryuki. Maybe his problem runs deeper, but I have doubts about it.

24:00 well thats not entirely true Shen says I’ll give up on it if you can find me a good opponent so its not that he won’t kill Ohma and Ryuki he’d find another route towards his goal but if it doesn’t work out he doesn’t care morality or not and just because he lacks a moral compass or empathy doesn’t mean his actions aren’t evil. I think griever is wrong. shen might have only killed people who were trying to kill him, but after he kicked the gasmask off of gaoh's face and when he impales him, Gaoh mukkaku was just trying to escape. One of his last thoughts was on how to escape. Shen is obviously very liberal with killing. You could argue that gaoh was trying 110% to kill shen but at the same time, shen wouldnt let him live. Even if gaoh came in in armor and with a chainsaw, killing him while hes desperately trying to buy time and or escape is still morally reprehensible, not really grey
If the principles are the development of the technique of the redirection kata why Mokaku's surprise when Shen stop his spear ????? he is the founder of the Niko style originally. So I don't think Greiver is right about that the principles are an evolution of the Niko style. There's no one in Kingan who can stop someone's power like the Connector and Ryan.
True. I think it's too distinct. But the Niko style does use the "principles " to some extent, but I think it's nowhere near what Raian and Wulong can currently do.
