I don't think Tiger Niko is that impressive so far, he didn't do anything significant against Muteba (and even if Muteba had a small derringer pistol we had seen Ohma's Niko deflect fullsize handgun bullets before), the same Muteba who admitedd he doesn't fight unless he liked his odds and tapped out against a pretty injured Wkatsuki in the KAT because of it.

Or by being on the "same league" with Edward Wu that was unceremoniously killed by Raian? The same Edward Wu that is a perfect descendant of an inhumanly strong "demon" that still managed to die 4 times in the same day and then one more one week later? Neither Tiger Niko nor any of the big name bad guys has EVER actually accomplished anything meaningful in the story.

@@mavvynne444 Even though Demonsbane Is a big thing, its only a physical enhancer, so it would only enhance the niko style that all the students only know. which the worm is now aware of.

It's hard to speculate about that, those are not *actually* the names used in the original japanese, it's just that the Translation group Hokuto no Ken that later went official alongside Comikey were REALLY liberal with the technique names. The Katas from the Niko style for example aren't actually Fire, Adamantine, Water and Deflection, they're all supposed to be names derived from Indian mythology, which is the in-universe reason for Ohma to be called the "Ashura", which is a demonic figure from the same myths.

I tried looking up the original Japanese name and even tried looking up their names in Hindu but they aren't much different to what the translation group said they are. I think if you look on the Fandom page of kengan ashura they're listed as Heavenly fire, Heavenly water, Flow control form and Adament form. So different but not really, I think it'd be really cool if they were a bit more Hindu in nature as it would fit the theme of Ohma's call sign. As it stands right now being nicknamed the Asura really doesn't mean much. I'm sure the Japanese audience understands the cultural connotation of that so it probably hits harder in their minds than in mine being a western fan who knows very little about East and South Asian mythology. But yeah leaning into that cultural label for the katas names in the English translation of the manga could've been so much more cool than it is currently.

Right? He did it without a break too! All of the fights Four had were with the intention to kill, which makes it way harder. They also most likely went all out right off the bat or at least used a decent percentage of their strength right from the start.

I'm honestly not even convinced Ohma's Niko is actually dead, everything we've seen of him and of Genzan painted them as pretty reasonable dudes that wouldn't go around killing willy-nilly even if they're capable of that. Would Genzan really kill someone for roughing up his student? I'm not sure. And would Niko go along with a death match even when he knew for a FACT that whole thing was a misunderstanding? Considering they both had ties to Kuroki it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up being the case that the two knew each other, or at least of each other, which makes the whole thing weirder.

Four stopped Ohma fought Genzan, then Six came and killed him while he was weakened.

Ohma went berserk and niko had to stop him but got hurt a lil then he fought six and according to setsuna they did a lethal exchange in blows which left four mortally wounded and six "dead"(he survived and ran away) then genzan showed up with setsuna(six sent setsuna to genzan) and genzan ended four due to him being wounded from 2 back to back fights

Yes! I don't mind the extension at all but Sandrovich seems focused on closing this story. Hopefull even if it ends we get a new one or at least some exploration on this subplot.

like what happened to the 3? why did 5 hate mukaku (which doesn't make much sense since mukaku took care of him and the others)? and how did they join the worm?

The part that is missing I suspect Makaku is holding back details because he does not trust Ohma or anyone here fully.

I'm guessing the connector is probably the one that convinced Six/Tiger Niko to betray Mukaku. That maybe the reason why Mukaku hates the connector the most. But it definitely just could just be a case of "Kill the top guy. And the rest will fall."

But Mukaku did say he was starting from the beggining, so he could probably talk about him later

Well I thought of some possibilities: 1. 'roids usage not dissimilar to what Mukaku did in order to keep his body at his prime regardless of age. Six's gotta be in his late 40's or 50's now. 2. Changed in appearance to stablish his true nature (likely, regardless of course the depiction the author's trynna give off for his character, would be kinda weird if he was a "twinky" and not an absolute monster ) or to erase any connection to Gaoh or be deemed as a "Niko" (Unlikely as he's tided with the Worm and I doubt the government would even dare chasing him given his connection to the upper ranks of the worm, who most likely pull a few strings in the gov) 3. Undergone improvement surgeries that resulted in that (unlikely, but not dissimilar to what Terashi does) 4. The most likely possibility: the passing of time. No matter how twinky or femboy; androgyny rather, you are, if you're on your peak attainable physique, which increases testosterone, the natural result will be bringing a more primitive, beastly look (which ultimately is what Sandro's trynna depicture with his character). I like the design and his development from a cute twink as you called to an absolute monster, a devil. A shame he's being done dirty lately. Forced to use Advance against Setsuna? C'mon. I hope they further show his true mastery and level.

Someone here already mentioned it, could be the nameless guide. His facial structure seems similar so I also think the same.

@@Enoxificatti It's a prequel to Kengan Ashura, not a sequel. In fact it takes place years before Ashura. The sequel to Ashura is Omega, you smooth-brained imbecile. The Gato Family being destroyed by the "Hidden Man" that was referenced in Omega takes place in The Fist of the Seeker PREQUEL manga, while in Omega they refer to the incident in PAST- tense. Read a Kengan reddit sub why don't you.
