Thank you, It would look great as a wood/print/clear acrylic sandwich, I was also thinking doing resin doming, there are lots of way to make these. That's what I am trying to demonstrate with my videos, that there are many ways to do things, and we should consider them all. Make do with what you got! I also try to keep it available for anyone, I have access to expensive toys, but the regular Joe only has a dumpster find printer and a diode laser at best. See you in the next ones!

@@mymagicsigns I like this resin doming or bubble idea but even resin has it's limitations with yellowing over time. Maybe two thin acrylic layers acting as the lamination cover. Sandwich the image in-between to inlay into the border. And laser cut a thicker piece border cut of acrylic to encompass the laser cut sandwich.

Thank's, when I use regular paper the wood glue wets the paper and it does not look as clean, but it works well on thicker paper, like photo paper. There are so many variations of this that you can do, I will make more videos on this subject.

Thank you, I only laminate the keychains, for the rest of my projects I use regular paper, and any wet adhesive you would use on regular paper will wet the paper and it will look bad, also the wood grain will show through easier if not for the double sided tape, I've experimented alot with this, and double sided tape is perfect for regular paper. If you use cardstock or thicker photo paper, you can use any adhesive you want.

I just use double sided tape, it works great for indoors even with high humidity, I did not try it for outdoor use, but I guess some resin for protection and you should be good to go!

I've seen your stuff, nice equipment, i used to do a lot of work in the print side in the past. I am working now at a 3 episode mini series in which I am going more in deepth on design and file preparation, it will be a Doll House, but that is just because I could not find a lenghty and complex enough project. The doll house is irrelevant and what you learn there is relevant also for your type of work.

Print at 100% scale / Actial size, if it's not the same as the cut file, play with the output ratio.

I've made a keychain for demonstration only, you can apply this technique to add prints to any project, and as for keychains, you can fill the page with them as I've explained in the video, but I see you have'nt watched the whole video, so you missed the point. Hi, I use PET Pouches, as most laminating pouches are, since Chlorine and Cianide releasing plastics have some commercial restriction when used for thermal equipment, now if you live in a bad country like I used to, they don't care about the rules and you should read the lable, this is not a video about laser safety.

But in the case you want to use PVC sheets, The cold laminating ones can come in PVC plastic, I think you would still be OK, as the sheets are so thin as most of their thickness is glue, just don't breathe it in, have good ventilation.

@@mymagicsigns you are probably right it would not be a big health hazard, but the chlorine also corrodes the metal quickly (really bad for the linear rails).

@@NickSpirov I know, but not at those thicknesses, I would have to burn o whole sheet to barely corode the tip of a wire.
