@@troyyarbrough as long as you don’t lie about the shipping times you will have no issues with angry customers. I have had more than 400 sales with them and out of 400 sales I’ve only had one issue with them and it was around the christmas holidays, but the customer was very understanding. So again, as long as you state the shipping times, you’re good.
@@eca_jt You need to have money upfront to start a dropshipping business. Most people are signing up with $0.00 not knowing that selling platforms will not release funds until customer receive items, so I believe RU-vidrs should tell "new sellers" that you still need startup funds.
@@MisterUrbanWorld I sell both on Etsy and Shopify, but I started on Etsy first. In the beginning (for 90 days or smth like that) Etsy's payout is every couple of days (which wasn't an issue for me, as I didn't make any sales in that period of time) but after that 90 days period passes, if you select the daily payout, they literally pay you the money from today's sales, tomorrow, and the money literally get into my bank account that very same day in max 5-6 hours, and I'm from europe, so I'm guessing it's even faster for people from the US? After you you start making sales consistently you will start having upfront money at all times. This is when I decided to start selling on Shopify too. As for Shopify, yes, some customers choose to checkout via stripe (credit card) which pay you 7 days after the sale was made, but in my case, the majority choose to checkout using paypal, which means I get the money instantantly. Either way, I now have upfront money so it does not matter to me which checkout method they choose. I guess it's different from person to person, but I honestly think that going with etsy first is the way to go, if you do not have funds. Yes, the first couple of weeks you will receive your money slower, which is why (if you don't have any upfront money) i recommend to open an etsy shop and in the first 90 days to post products with RIDICULOUSLY high prices, like tshirts for $20,000 to give you an example, that way you know for sure that no one will buy. Once the 90 days period passes you can then start selling products at normal prices, and once you start generating sales, and thus profit, you can then go on and sell on other websites like shopify, gumroad (whic by the way is free, no monthly plan, but they do take a commission fee from each sale) etc. So yeah, if you don't have any upfront money, you just have to be smart about it. I started with no money, literally zero funds available, and here I am 653 sales later on Etsy and 547 sales later on Shopify. I wish everyone lots of luck and success with their print on demand businesses. ✌️

Pretty cool! This is great because, as you said, it'll differentiate you from other POD sellers because of the unique items that you can create, and yes that shipping time will be a killer if you arent honest with your customers by letting them know there will be a significant wait time if they choose to purchase. Twas excited by the concept but fell over the cliff at delivery times - im new st POD and just recently sold a shower curtain which wax printed by Printify in USA and was delivered to Australia (where i live) - i recieved an email from the customer expressing her disappointment at the delivey time which was 4 weeks - i was amazed to watch the tracking on the product - so im thinkg 6 weeks would cause a lot of customer email angst - would value yor feedback - cheers - your doing an excellent job
I saw a commercial on RU-vid for this concept, perhaps even the same company, in China. The reason the all over prints look so good is that the garment (or shoe) pieces are printed first and then sewn together. So it’s not taking a blank T-shirt printing and on it. It’s taking blank fabric, printing on it, cutting out the pieces of the garment and sewing them together. Completely different to regular print on demand. The shipping time is a downside, especially for Americans who expect everything the next day, but us Canucks are used to long shipping times lol. Glad everything came out so good. I’ve been intrigued since I saw that commercial.

This is a game-changer! Every other site is trying to charge us just for being with them. That always seemed to be wrong. These guys approached it from a different angle which is great! And also to mention that some items are shipped from USA, some mugs for example. Bye bye Printify

If you have to choose the size before creating the design, how do you integrate that with a Shopify store? Would I design the XS, S, M, L, and XL on ThisNew to make all the sizes available in my store?
If you had led off with "they ship from China" it would have saved time. It doesn't matter how boldly and obviously you tell customers about shipping times, they still complain and leave bad feedback if an item takes "too long" to get to them. I've lost two Etsy stores due to customers complaining about shipping times and leaving bad feedback. Etsy did not shut my stores down, but several bad reviews will kill your store's sales.
I loooove the variety of products they offer.. and the shipping seems reasonable too. BUT since it's prolly related to alibaba/aliexpress (love ali), I'm concerned about designs being stolen.. you can see many stolen designs on aliexpress and such places. Some artists use suppliers from alibaba, so their desigs might get leaked from there.. All that being said, I'm willing to give it a try 😵
When offering Thisnew Shirts on Etsy who is then receiving the customer s questions? Is it me on Etsy or do the questions automatically Go to Thisnew?🤔🤔🤔 Love your contents 😊❤️
Yes you would handle the customer questions. As far as the customer knows, you are printing the shirt in your factory. You are just outsourcing the actual printing to ThisNew. They receive the order automatically and ship it. You receive the customer’s payment and you pay ThisNew at the same time for the shirt (and bank the profit).
Yes the space designs were HD pictures (NASA has some “ultra hD” pics as well). I think the hoodie was like 10,000 x 10,000 pixels - really nice detail on the finished product
Yes they have held up great (WAY better than Redbubble if I'm being perfectly honest). The items are polyester, my wife says that might be why it holds up better in the wash?
Another so so so helpful video a quick question as tshirts are too compitative on etsy what other product you suggest for a etsy beginner to do with POD ?
I have done shirts and they do sell - my complaint is the sizes lead to returns. So I would recommend having a look at ThisNew’s metal signs or something that is one size only.

Hello! For ThisNew, basically you pick a type of design (like shoes) and then you fill in a template with the design. Then when you list, you can select which sizes you offer (so the customer can select the size). Some products only have one size, but many products have lots of different sizes. I would recommend signing up and then just designing shoes (just to see how it goes) and then you can see what you want to link to Etsy (or any other platform). Hope that helps!
How it'worth it with The delivery time is too long ( 7 to 15 days) to USA? And with the time of production can go as far as 20 days!!!! I really need your opinion?
I find that generally if you are up front with your customers about shipping times, they are cool with it (this is a common problem on Etsy as some people want it yesterday). As a shop owner, you could put turnaround times on your storefront and explain that the items are printed on demand (which means that they sometimes take a while to print).

Yes you can definitely upload your (same) designs to different POD sites - if you have a design that is consistently selling, all the more reason to do that.
Regarding business structure - imagine a sliding scale and on one end is Redbubble (minimal work) - Etsy is in the middle and then Shopify (your own site) is on the other end (most work but highest potential). So it depends on how much time and investment you want to make.

The shoes themselves are decent but they aren’t $150 Nikes... but the all over prints are far superior to Redbubble in my opinion. My RB tees start peeling after a few months but these all overs are printed into the fabric itself.
