Printable Solar Panels 

I saw a video where a young inventor created a UV solar panel that absorbed far more power even when very overcast. It was created from the idea that bio-luminescent particles in vegetables and fruit absorbs UV light, I'm not 100% sure if he used the particles or simply the mechanism they absorb UV light, but the point being that his panels are a lot more efficient. Not sure how that would change your comment - but I hope humankind invents some far more effective ways of turning sunlight into electricity.

@@hssssssssssss I have no idea - not my field - but the video did say it was based, not from organic matter and it was 60% better because it gathers UV energy. I guess if it doesn't turn up for sale in the next year or two we know it was a crap idea. :) (or it was so good someone paid for it and stuck it on the shelf)

Altho needs to be said that when comparing the efficiency, the cost and toxicity of the tech should be considered not just meters squared. So yes I expect the efficiency per meter squared to be lower, but I hope the efficiency per toxicity level would be higher

A cigs-panel produces up to 10x more watts wih a single watt rating compared to a standard-rating of a standard-solar panel. Does this answer your question? an 8W-panel will produce ~80W per day! A 200W panel will produce easily 1-2 kWh/day! You can produce more with it, but that depends on your situations. Will you take it into your house and put an LED onto it to make it produce more energy? or is yours just fixed on your roof? then you will not get this extra-boost. Cigs-panels convert ANY light into energy, even car´s LEDs, house-LEDs, pocket lamps or whatever light you have in your house/outdoors.

Cigs-panels cannot degrade by sun. So they can last (in theory) much much longer. HOw long they will last will epend on the material you use! If you use a cheap film-tech like here, it will die within 5 years! If you use sturdy and srong material it will last 100-200 years and longer without losing power. A normal solar panel dies because it´s being degraded by sun´s radiation. This doesn´t happen here.

It IS very efficient. It can convert ALL lighting into energy, not just infrare-light like normal solar-panels do! Cigs-panels can produce up to 10x more energy/watt compared to standard panels.

You wouldn´t be able to pay the 7000-10,000$ needed just for 1400W of Cigs-panels, would you? Also: You will need a bit more space on your roof! Btw: it´s NOT recommended to put them on the roof! The power depends on what type of light you have. Infrared like standard-solar panels use, only produce few energy (20-25% of conversion). Cigs-panels can use infrared-light as well, but they will ONLY convert around 15-20% of it into voltage. The much higher power output from them will come from blue light! Cigs-panels are optimized for WINTER-light (where a lot of blue-light will come down = huge power-efficiency of 50-80% conversion!). You can also put Cigs-panels under LEDs (since LEDs wll produce a lot of blue light) = high power conversion!

1.5 qm can produce ~100W/hour Continuously! A Cigs-panel can work for more than 10 hours/days since it´s not depending on sunlight only. Gaining you 1000 watts/day or even more, depending on what you do then after the 10 hours are over. You can take it into your house, put it under a 20W LED and gain another 15W/hour or whatever else you do. Allways depending on your numbers you can provide.

No! Too expensive for india. It will cost wha you will earn in a single month (200W = 800 US-$!). You couldn´t afford it. Only for rich countries. You can import it maybe. Or you can get the 8 W-Lowend version which costs ~40$. It´s a pack of 4 tiny 2W-panels. You can combine them to get 8 W.

No as perovskites is just an invention for silicon-based solar-panels. Silicon-based solar panels are an invention of 1970s. and perovskites are just a low oadvancement of 2020s for silicon-based solarpanels. Too old to implement. Cigs-panels are an invention of 2000s. And they have made huge advancements since then and are much more powerful compared to silicon based panels because they do NOT use silicon! Instead they use Gallium-Selenide, a much better material (better electron-volts => electron-gap is much bigger => produces much more energy =A). A cigs-panel can produce up to 10x more performnce in a single year compared to a standard solar-panel. See? Comparison: A standard solar panel with 200 watts can produce roughly 200 kWh/year. A cigs-panel with 200 Watt will not just deliver the wattage what it says on he package. But even more! And on many more days on he year = equalling to ~1000 kWh of energy easily. Only very few companies produce this since it´s HARD to make. You nee very special machines. It´s not a standard-silicon machine like use for every micro-chip. See? This isn´t using micro-chips! no silicon! No wafers! Instead you need special machines for SPRAYING. A Cigs-panel consists of about 10 different ingredients. the cigs-tech itself has 3 components: Copper, Indium, and Gallium-Selenide! But these 3 components are just your "solarcell" here, which convert red, blue and green light into energy. You need around 7 other materials which you have to be sprayed in a very complex way on your materials in order to make it a full working Cigs-Solarpanel!

THese panels are ONLY for companies with LOW sun-light! Understood? This isn´made for you, sir. This will be damaged if you put it into huge sun for many hours/year. Cigs-solar panels are made for WINTER. Where there is no or nearly no sun. Instead you have a lot of BLUE light. Blue light conains a LOT of energy. Which this solarcell can then convert into energy.

5-200 years. Depending on material you spray it on. You use foil = it will only last a few years because foil is bad for health! Use sturdy material such as plastic or metal-backing and it will last 200 years since there is no photovoltaic degration like with many other solarcells!

It´s expensive. 5$/watt average. an 8W-Mini Panel costs 30-40$. A 30W-panel cost 200$ (Foldable). And a 100W one will cost you 200-250$. THe mos expensive one with 200W, capable of producing housand of kWh per year will cost you 500-800$!

It´s not suitable for counries with lots of sun since this is made for countries with LOW amounts of sun. his can even convert artificial lights into energy (such as LED, halogen, pocket lamps, xenon etc)...

No, since africa is a poor country. This will only be delivered to richer countries. Since this is a luxury product. It´s very expensive! The cheapest DIY-option with 8W power will cost you 50$ in africa allready...Does this answer your question? isn´t that what you earn like in a single month? You would have to hunger for 1 month to be able to afford it.f Also note. This solar panel is NOT made for counries with lots of Sun! This is made for countrie with LOW suns uch as germany, USA (parts of it); canada (rich country) and others with low amounts of sunshine. Since this solarpanel produces energy when there is NO SUN (e.g. you can put it under an LED-lamp and it will produce energy that way because it converts the blue light of the LED (blue light contains a lot of energy, much more then red light!) into many Amperes of energy.

Cannot be globalized. Only very few companies can produce this as i does NOT rely on silicon-based chip-fabs. You need SPECIAL fabs which can produce this.
