This is my honest review and I am glad you are here.
Follow along today as I show you how to get the most from your printer ink cartridge!
It never fails, when I am in a rush, that's when my printer ink for my ink jet printer runs out. Am I the only one?
I have an HP Envy 4520 printer that I have had for 7 years now and have been very happy with it. You can find it here on Amazon if you want to check it out: amzn.to/4b1tm91
It takes the 63XL cartridge. And I have used Toner Kingdom replacement cartridges for quite a while now instead of the expensive HP ones.
Now.. today, I do have an extra cartridge all ready to go, but before I swap it out, I want to see if I can get a little more ink out of the existing one.
And that is where this video comes into play. And it can help you no matter what type of inkjet cartridge you have, because the method is the same.
Basically, after a cartridge sits for some time, the head of it can become clogged up.
And when that happens, you aren't out of ink just yet, there's just no way for it to come out.
So try this little hot water trick, and get the most out of your printer ink!
And when it's time, indeed replace that cartridge, but don't throw money away if you do not have to.

Bought a cheap black and white laser printer 10 years ago, have spent a total of about $20 on toner and it never dries out

this is the way. Ink only makes sense for some very specific applications, laser should be the default.

One day I hope to get a laser printer, and I have my eye on a couple on Amazon, one being a Brother wireless monochrome printer. They are definitely top notch I understand. I forget the specs on it, but here's the link amzn.to/44iI21t

I hate newer printers. Ink cartridges are so expensive and hold less ink than old ones. We don't buy printers anymore after 15+ years. It is a lot cheaper to print at Fedex than having a printer if you don't print a lot everyday.

Yes, I hear you. I'm disgusted every time I have to buy ink. I try to not print as much as possible. And I when I do buy the ink, I buy the refurbished cartridges like in the video...they're 1/2 the cost and are a bit easier to stomach when laying out the money :)

My cheapo Canon ink printer tells me when it thinks the ink cartridges are empty and it won't print any more until I replace the ink. Having chips in ink cartridges is such a scam.

That does stink! My printer does alert me to low/empty ink, but it still allows me to print however. When your Canon finally wears out, you might want to try the HP Envy 4520 like mine, it's pretty decent... here's the link if you want to check it out on Amazon amzn.to/4b1tm91

You can usually disable the ink status warning on a cartridge by holding the stop/reset button (it will probably look like a red circle with a triangle inside it) for 5-7 seconds - this varies from printer to printer but you should be able to find the steps by searching the brand/model. This will let you carry on printing even when the printer "thinks" the cartridge is empty. And yes, chips in cartridges and "ink low" warnings are a huge scam.

The only thing you need to know about HP ink cartridges is that they cost HP about 18 cents to produce. It costs you 50 euro in the store and it costs them 18 cents. If you want a printer at home, get a monochrome laserprinter from a decent brand. Inkjets are probably the single worst rip off in the entire printing industry.

They are indeed a pain to keep buying those cartridges, I understand. That's why I try to go with the refurbished ones from Toner Kingdom. One day I'll get a laser printer, like the Brother wireless monochrome.
