Hi Mandy, Thank you so much for this video! I needed this… I too have been waiting for embroidery in Printify. I just have one quick question and I’m hoping that you can help. Most of my products are personalized and embroidery will be no different. My question is with each product being personalized whether it be a sweatshirt, hoodie, or a hat will each personalized product need to be digitized when you’re changing a name, a date, etc.? I just need to know whether to factor that production time and money into each product sale. I look forward to hearing from you! Michelle
This is a GREAT question! Since the need for digitization is based on the design itself and personalization does change each design, I would plan on the slight delay (and potential digitization cost in the future) for each personalized order 😊
I am very excited about the embroidery on hoodies and sweatshirts! Mandy, thanks for the video, thanks to Cristina too! How does it work on customized hoodies/ sweatshirts (as in the video, with the nurse's sweatshirt)? Is it the same process as the printed ones? I don't understand the digitization in this case. In Printify there is only one embroidery provider with a low quality score 😥... Thanks again!
Hey Mandy. I noticed the product notes state, "Embroidery machines are set to align the design to the middle of the print area so designs will be automatically centered." This sounds like, even if you push toward the top, as seen in the video, that it will auto-adjust to the mid center. Am I translating this incorrectly?
My only concern is on printify there is only one provider I see for embroidery. Since we are in Q4 and it will explode in popularity I am concerned with production delays especially for customers who want an order quick for christmas. I know I am thinking too much, but just taking things into account.

Does it matter which edge the design needs to close to? I have a design where it is close to the top and bottom edges but not the sides. I was under the impression it has to be at least one of the edges. Also, I just saw on Printify that digitization is free until 2025, I wonder how much the charge will be later. It should stay free for premium accounts. Also the hat you chose has an outline which is a no-no according to their guidelines..
