#3dprinting #creator #diyprojects In this episode I created a traveller, named after the famous sculptures from French artist and sculptor Bruno Catalano. files can be found here: www.thingivers... or here: www.printables...
I'm having a lot of trouble printing the torso. The print gets knocked by the extruder everytime at around layer 200. Printed about the same angle as your example in this video and with organic support. I tried without any supports and the brim couldn't hold it in place.
The purge tower is there for my timelapse... Otherwise I get a lot of material on my print because the nozzle oozes a little bit when it is parked on the side waiting for my camera to take a picture. I tried playing with the retraction settings but so far I find that the tower works better... Still not perfect though
@@printchallenge7158 Thanks! I was undecided if it were for the Timelapse or maybe to guarantee enough time between layers. BTW thank you also for making me discover Mixamo, I used the free MakeHuman program before, but this is way better to obtain rigged models.
- make the brim bigger - add some glue on the bed Maybe also - print slower - don’t print at 100% infill - allow the printhead to move a bit up when it needs to cross the print (z-hop it’s called I think) I would start with that
I downloaded the file but the size of the base is too small do you have any idea how i can fix it to have it the same size als the torso and the bag to make it fit?
@@djplaybackful What is not printing well? I think most of my settings are pretty standard on the prusa slicer... Only thing that might help is to enable "detect thin walls", but actually I'm not even sure if I had to turn that on for this print... Hope you get a nice print soon!
