Priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut #rrts corridor between Sahibabad to Duhai Depot is ready for operations. As per the project timelines, this section with five stations Sahibabad, Ghaziabad , Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot is to be operationalised by June 2023. However, it’s now ready for commissioning in May 2023.
Due testing of system has been done and trial runs of #rapidx trains have been successfully completed. The system has also been taken over by M/s. Deutsche Bahn India for operations & maintenance.

The 🚆 NCRTC was incorporated on 21 August 2013. The 🏫 Union Cabinet approved formation of the NCRTC under the Companies Act, 1956, in July 2013. The NCRTC was charged with designing, developing, implementing, financing, operating, and maintaining the 🚆 RRTS in the NCR to provide comfortable and fast transit to NCR towns and to meet the growth in demand for rapid transport options in the region.

@@darkfire1161 There have been a lot of workshops, 🤝🏻 meetings, discussions, 📈 feasibility studies, and analysis before the 🎀 official kick-off of any project. But I do agree that the current government has converted many imports projects into 🇮🇳 "Make in India" projects. The trains are being built by 🚆 Alstom's manufacturing plant in Savli, Gujarat.

🚆 The entire route is designed for a maximum speed of 180 km/h (111.85 mph), with an operating speed of 160 km/h (99.42 mph). The average speed (when taking stops into account) will be approximately 100 km/h (62.14 mph).
