I doubt that the years Elvis spent with Priscilla were the happiest days of his life. Come the end Elvis didn't want to marry her. he wanted to marry Ann-Margret. They even spoke about it. But when Priscilla got wind of the two of them, she went to her Dad and Colonel Parker for support. Elvis eventually was forced to marry her. Then when she'd been with him long enough to get a good divorce settlement, she left him. Priscilla from the very beginning was all about the money. She didn't want to have Lisa. She considered having an abortion and not telling Elvis that she was or had been pregnant. And it wasn't long after Lisa had been born that the marriage started falling apart and Priscilla started spending more and more time living in California while Elvis remained in Memphis at Graceland. So how happy was Elvis really? Elvis certainly doted over Lisa Marie and his love for her could be seen. Elvis was a loving father, he took to being a father like a duck to water. Priscilla on the other hand, who knows. One thing though is certain, when Elvis passed away, Lisa was pushed aside and Priscilla practically handed her over to Scientology to handle. Rather, that is to brain wash, to control her. To bend her to their way of thinking. Having a baby with Elvis was not on the cards as far as Priscilla was originally concerned. After all she was way to young, only twenty-one when they got married. Elvis on the other hand would have loved to have had more children. I wonder what happened there, but then everyone knows what Priscilla has said on that matter. In fact she has said so much about Elvis, it's difficult to know what to believe. TCE.

@@VMG_123 I've been a huge Elvis fan for 50 years and I've a large collection of books, dating back to the 1950's right up to the present day. I have almost every Elvis Monthly Magazine that was ever released including the last one when they stopped publishing it. I've accumulated so much over the years, long before the likes of RU-vid came along and people started trashing Elvis. And that includes Priscilla who is head and shoulders above the rest in that area. Whether any of what she says is actually true, including her reason for writing the book, it's hard to say. She certainly has sensationalised it and keeps doing so. And now with RU-vid, every snippet is picked up and repeated, added to and exaggerated. And the more that this happens, the further from the truth it gets. I mean you've got people on here that seem to do nothing else and each time they upload another video, at least 60% contains regurgitaed information from the previous video, but with a further twist to it. Honestly if Elvis had done 50% of what all these people claim and there are so many, plus all of Priscilla claims, then Elvis would never have had any time for his career. He'd never have gotten on the stage. You've got to dig deep these days to find the truth buried under all the trash. TCE

Priscilla had been revising the truth about herself and Elvis for years, therefore, WHY should she be believed at all? I had questions and doubts about her for years and Suzanne Finstad has no axes to grind with Priscilla. Perhaps if she DID have issues with her, then I would be questioning her motives. However, Cilla was a bit of a whore in Germany and she was no virgin when she met her teen idol. I give her credit for having Lisa and for saving Graceland from being sold. Nobody is perfect, neither Elvis nor Priscilla, but the myths she created about herself needed to be challenged. You can wholeheartedly believe all Priscilla's crap and that is your privilege. However, I don't. Her parents were ambitious for her security with an older rich man but she wasn't losing sleep over him.

She never stayed with him and she screwed Elvis for every penny she could get, even taking him back to court for more money. Elvis even had to pay for the house she lived in with Stone. I am not even that mad at her for that. When she speaks of him though she doesn't really speak lovingly about him like his other serious loves do, which wouldn't bother me if she hadn't taken his name again and then took control of his estate, which she has done well at growing, so still to this day he is taking care of her, I just wish she was a little more appreciative, and loyal to what he has meant for her.
