I think he'd look better with his Toru Nakayama style (aka his sprite in mega man zero) but I understand why you'd want him to be in his X style

we would rather headbutt a meteorite entering orbit than involve ai in any of our artistic/creative endeavors it's not disrespectful to want a different artstyle, what is disrespectful is to want to shove ai into absolutely everything thinking its a miracle maker when it cant even discern what is a plane from an orange without human input i pray for the day people realize that "ai" is just cleverbot being fueled by a neural network whose image generating prompts one has to haphazardly limit at every corner in order to get anything sort of resembling a _sketch_ of what one wants, let alone a fully realized product like what you suggest it can do (it cannot) thanks for your time

Alongside that, I don't know how to tell you this, but there's hardly a workforce to begin with, which would still be needed to make the sprites getting used and converted to this "painted" artstyle. Meaning on top of whatever effort would be used in the first place to get the ai to spit out something remotely consistent with both the sprites used and the visuals we want, we'd still be doing the exact same thing as always. Not to mention the fact that the "better" ai options either have a price outright, or would take forever to even convert 1 character without paying for more/priority generations. Which isn't even mentioning the fact that the sprites would 100% have a different size, impacting performance on a major scale, and be absolutely atrocious to palette, edit, reapply item points and other pixel specific functions, or make more of alongside a bunch of other unknowns. Even if its technically possible, its not viable in any way for our workflow nor is it beneficial enough to spend time on, a sentiment echoed by the severe lack of such a method from any major gaming company thus far who are both the kings/queens of cutting costs and workflow to get similar products, AND love throwing the latest buzzwords into their projects as soon as possible. Feel free to imagine how it'd look but unless we all have a change of heart and it actually becomes practical to do, you'll be stuck with sprites.
