Thanks for the video! I was actually wondering why the price suddenly dropped because I missed Baro's last visit, but it has been on my WFM wishlist for a long time, so now I was finally able to snatch one for myself. People crying about ammo or the AoE nerfs need to adjust. It was just too broken back in the day. This version feels pretty balanced and fun to use. I'd say it may be better than the Proboscis Cernos in many scenarios, with the damage type/resistance changes. Edit: I didn't realise the Lenz _also_ counts as a "sniper", not _just_ a "bow" category, so you can use sniper ammo mutation rather than arrow mutation. That's interesting... I wasn't aware it was possible for a weapon to be in multipe categories, although I assume you can only have one ammo mutation mod equipped at a time. I think the exilus mod isn't working for you because 50+75=125%, so if it's rounded, then 50% rounds up to 1, but 125% rounds down to 1. Maybe 150% total would be required to get 2.
@@NatiiixLP I definitely don't think the ammo changes are as bad as people make them out to be, and a nerf was very much warranted, as AoE weapons were far too prevalent. Lenz only counts as a sniper when it comes to being able to use sniper mutation, nothing else. It along with a few other bows are like that, I think it has to do from when they changed ammo back in the day.
@@Einzweig Yeah, AoE weapons still kinda overshadow single-target weapons. Actual sniper rifles and single-target bows are too niche. The mob density of modern Warframe gameplay, as you said in the video, is pretty high. The ammo mutation lore is a bit bizarre, but good to know. Well, bows _are_ also considered rifles, so there's that.
I had actually thought about it a few days ago, but opted not to because I didn't think many people would care. However, if you wish for it, I'd be more than happy to oblige. It's my second most used secondary weapon, so I'm quite fond of it.
Toxic lash is strange and applies to both the explosion the direct hit and your blast pricks if you get any of those. The lense is sort of weak on every other frame tho. Something about toxic lash makes it quite crazy
Built in Ammo Mutation + Ammo Drum in the exilus makes it satisfyingly spammable like the Bramma once was. Yeah you need outside buffs/synergys for it to nuke steel path, but if you're playing steelpath then you likely have said buffs. It's not like people don't still use buffs on the top tier weps. Just pair the Lenz with an AoE armor stripper like Frost or Hildryn and it'll destroy everything all the same.
Replace the high voltage on the second build with hunter munitions You already dont need the mutation Its much more damage and viral instead of those toxin procs lol
I'm confused. I did do viral with hunter mumu as like the third build I showed I think, if that's what you mean. Very likely I'm just schizo and lost in the sauce, if you could leave a timestamp to when/what you're talking about that'd be epic.
@@cenation7mjc I'm still confused. In both of the timestamps you gave I had hunter munitions on instead of high voltage, which is what you were saying to do. The toxin procs are from the direct hits, because the impact doesn't have cold to kick with and get viral.
I really like bows in this game, especially explosive ones. Playing as Zephyr, this bow is not bad at all, even though bugged with tornadoes. For some reason I can see mostly yellow crits when explosion hits them. The bow itself has 215% CC and 5.3x CD with a riven mod. That being said, when not using tornadoes, I only see red crits when in the air. Tested vs SP Murmr for now, I see betwen 30k-400k crits and sometimes over 1M. Ran Persto survival, with no need for the capsules. Vulpy for viral. Bow modded for Gas, the tornadoes are kill zones with some enemies dying before they even reach the middle. Riven for now: 40% ammo max, 130%CC, 90%CD, +recoil. Other mods: Crit Delay, Malignant Force, Vigilante Fervor(Vile acc when I get it), Thermite rounds, Hunter Munitions, Rifle Ele, Galv Chamber and Cautious Shot. Using Primary Merciless. Wish DE would give this weapon some love, as riven dispo sucks for no reason and as always it has to be bugged with Zephyr 4.
@@XSoulgamez I actually liked the ammo nerf to explosive weapons, I think it was one of the best ways to bring them in line with other weapons. There are a few different ways of working around it, so I rarely find it to be a problem.
