Conditional just kinda fits for hunter in pve. (I do not believe running anything but a kinetic in pvp is optimal). That one fragment loves conditional and it would be a great idea to go conditional with solar energy and stasis power like a machine gun

@@arjunbaweja7755 Conditional is one of, if not the best PvP shotgun, as well. Having a special weapon in PvP like a shotgun, fusion or sniper is almost needed. Rarely, some people use double primary but it's uncommon.

I was surprised that we haven’t seen its catalyst effect yet, but as others have said, it probably benefits from Transcendent grenades now, maybe making a much more potent shot. Hopefully it’ll be good to use as a good DPS burst since grenades aren’t often used in most DPS rotations

@@zacherystone5196 It's a gun that carries in lower difficulty but an overheat built makes it really good as it's fire rate is proportional to how close you are.

Can we actually talk about how good the cube gun would be in D2 tho if it was implemented as an exotic fusion and every shot fired was a different element and each hit from your burst didn’t cost ammo because it is returned to the magazine but you are unable to reload it at all and it still would be a special not a primary

@@hunterharrelson8993 To make it more fair to D2 rules it can only auto load. Amazing DPS but whiff and it sucks. Maybe keep the over heat in but have it reward you by acting like a big burst of damage or debuffs relating to your subclass?

@@hunterharrelson8993 Sounds cool, but I'm not sure if it would be best as a fusion, though, unless it's like an SMG/Fusion hybrid in the way Vex Mythoclast is an auto-rifle/fusion hybrid. In the same way Vex charges up, you could charge up the cube gun's shielding mod, which would be amazing for a burst of survivability in high-end content.

@@Just_the_start101 well that would be hardlight with extra steps. Not bad, but definitely innovative enough. I’m thinking exactly how the OP said, with the addition that whichever elemental bullet kills an enemy, you get a verb burst from the enemy associated with that element. (Kinetic being tremors ofcourse) Whatever the exotic trait, the pulse sounds amazing

Tessellation will probably have something to do with prismatic. But speaking of armour, make Nezarec's sin work with prismatic. Something like "while a void super is equipped, void weapon or ability kills reduce energy cool down." Wont change its current effect but makes it work with prismatic and fits the Nezarec vibe still.

Nezarec’s sin already works with any subclass though (just use a void weapon with another subclass). I don’t see why it wouldn’t work for prismatic by default.

​@@Timb_bottomtext_ Yeah exactly, I used Nez Helm with strand when it first came out with double special and Void LMG, we had volatile orbs then as well and it was the most fun I had playing Destiny, I really enjoyed that build.

If you're doing Hardlight and Borealis, then you have to do Dead Messenger, too. You can't just ignore one Fundamentalist weapon if you're doing the others.

Here my guess, based on tesselation andnits unknown catalysts, we could end up with a set of weapons with an an origin trait that sets its element to one of your abilities something like heavy matches super, energy matches grenade, and kinetic matches melee. My only real evidence is the fact we got tracer rockets as an origin trait along side quicksilver storm.

Love the Remnant reference. Here's another idea. Any exotic with The Fundamentals perks can change to ANY Light or Dark damage types. Would make the weapons more versatile and would fit Prismatic's theme: Mastery of Light and Darkness.

Here is an idea that could be feasible although i doubt that they would even do it. Still feel it is kind of a broken concept but here is the idea. Name: Twin Side Slot: Energy Weapon type: Rapid-Fire Frame Sniper/Slug Shotgun Intrisic: Light and Dark(6 shots which shoot all 6 different damage types in a random order) Perk: Controlled Powers(holding reload consumes 1 charge of each ability, grenade, charged melee and class ability to reload and change all ammo to deal damage that is the same as the subclass with Primatic changing all damage to kinetic) Catalyst: Amped Up(the damage type will cause a subclass effect corresponding to the damage type. IE stasis causes 5 stack of slow, Solar causes 5+5 stacks of scorch, strand causes 3 seconds of sever, Void causes 2 seconds of supression, Arc causes 2 seconds of Blind, kinetic deals 10% more damage)

Ok ive got one: The Thrice Faced Exotic Hand Cannon 6 round mag Insintric: Elemental Implementation: Like the fundamentals, switch between all 6 damage types Stasis: Bullets Slow Strand: Precision Shots unravel Solar: Bullets Scorch Arc: Bullets Jolt Void: Bullets Volatile Kinetic: Bullets get knockback Catalyst: Prismatic Fury Whenever you get a precision final blow, you get a special prismatic shot (max 6) that counts as every damage type

I have an idea for an auto rifle. Every time you reload the gun after a kill, it changes to a different element in this order. Solar, arc, void, stasis, strand and back to solar. On solar the weapon applies 5 stacks of scorch per bullet. It also has incandescent, and causing an ignition grants cure x2. When it switches to arc, every 10th bullet will jolt an enemy, and blind any enemy the electricity touches. When it switches to void, every 5th bullet applies volatile, and every 10th applies weaken. Killing a weakened enemy grants a +40 health overshield. When it switches to stasis, every 5th bullet slows, and every 10th bullet freezes. Killing a slowed or frozen enemy spawns a stasis crystal. When it switches to strand, you apply unraveling rounds every 5th bullet, and sever every 10th bullet. Killing a severed or unraveled enemy applies woven mail. The weapon will have 600rpm with 100 in the magazine, a nice round scope with a red dot in the middle, and lighting on the gun that changes colours periodically. The weapon also has a catalyst where, when you have it activated, the weapon will not cycle elements after reloading, so you can keep an element you want. Also, when the catalyst is activated, the gun's lighting will stay to match the element it is on.

I'd make it a hand cannon with 5 in the mag. It rotates between each element every shot. Solar, Strand, Arc, Stasis, Void, then repeat. Depending on the damage of the shot that lands the final blow, it can apply a buff to you. Radiant, Woven Mail, Amplified, Frost Armor, and Devour. For the catalyst, you could increase the mag to 10 and have it apply debuffs to the enemy it hits for each different element. Scorch, Sever, Blind, Slow, and Weaken. I'd make the stronger debuffs have a shorter timer. Blind and Slow specifically. That way, you aren't stunlocking everything constantly. I would make the caveat that you can only apply all the buffs/debuffs while on the prismatic subclass. If you are on one of the base subclasses, it is still multi elemental, but you can only activate the buffs/debuffs for the subcalss you are on. It would likely be too op to ever actually be in game, but I figured if Bungie is leaning into giving us op subclasses/exotic armor, why not have an op exotic weapon to match.

I feel like tesselation will get a catalyst on Final Shape launch, something along the lines of "consuming your grenade shortly after getting a kill will grant a debuff to your huge load" but with different wording, and if they go really wild then on prismatic, the damage of the weapon itself will do the damage of the chosen super, but the grenade charged shot will do the damage of your chosen grenade. That is such a small difference, but imagine on warlock having void bomb super and threadling 'nades all of a sudden with a single fragment and a single weapon, you can get unraveling rounds and volatile rounds. Idk sounds fun

I want to make a heavy weapon that uses primary ammo. this weapon changes its type, depending on the class that you are using. for hunters, it is a strand dual wield sword for warlocks. It is a spear,(Not a glaive it won’t shoot projectiles) and for Titans, their fists. Each of these charge up overtime with kills and once they’re fully charged, they release a prismatic type super attack that combines all the sub classes

I would want some kind of 5 round handcannon that swapped damage types after every shot, each final blow would trigger solar ignitions, volatile blasts, arcing lightning, stasis shattering, and unraveling, depending on the damage type used for the kill, now for balance the blasts would either have to be weaker or this would have to be a special weapon like erianas vow, because having all of those effects on demand is just broken but fun, or perhaps it could be the first Heavy ammo handcannon, which would actually work as the design would be based on the S&W .500

You can keep the function that the Remnant has. It could be converted into a tracking rifle in which the beam tracks the enemy (a single beam) but with the catalyst by holding the reload button it switches to a mode in which it can track up to 4 enemies at once doing constant damage or leave the single beam and increase the dps by keeping 1 enemy firing at it continuously (and the subclass is Arc)

Like prophecy weapons the light and dark ammo buff, the gun should have prismatic light and prismatic dark instead of saying each subclass separately and just say prismatic light for solar arc and void and prismatic dark for stasis and strand

I feel something like the Boomacorn from Borderlands:TPS would be cool. It’s a shotgun that shot every element in the game in a single shot. With each element being tied to a single pellet. They could make it be similar to conditional or they could do something more along the lines of acrius or maybe so something like duality where when you aim it tightens the spread more. I’m not sure what the traits would be but I think it’d be a cool concept. Oh and they could make it have the biggest hip fire spread just to make it more balanced

Now what about Swarmers and a hatchling weapon? Threadings generates from the hatchling perk will unravel targets, which (should) generate a tangle when they’re killed.

Idk if theyve already revealed the element for it but the heavy traveler trace rifle could very well be prismatic. They could do a thing (and frankly it would be perfect for tessellation) where there are only a few prismatic weapons in the game but they match all enemy shield types.

I think it'd be cool if there was a fusion rifle or linear fusion that did 2 damage types at a time, rotating with the held reload key. Like a color wheel where fire-arc, arc-void, void-stasis, stasis-strand, strand-fire. If your super sub-type matches the damage primary damage of the weapon it'll proc the relevant shards (the firesparks and shit). If it matches the secondary damage of the weapon, you can gain the radiant, devour, etc.. if it matches neither (like if you are running fire super but stasis-strand fusion) the relevant effects are extended and can affect your teammates. I.e if you have fire and arc, your teammates that are running either can get their relevant shards to drop

I think a trace rifle that when shooting the beam you can notice arc lightning, strand string, stasis crystals, solar fire, and void mist whirling around the beam and it could have all damage elements being able to break any enemy shields and idk maybe helps transcend

An exotic heavy machine gun that, when full ramped up, cycles between all the different subclasses and begins applying debuffs from each one. If you can stay on a target long enough they will be scorched, volatile, unravelled, slowed, and jolted.

A trace-rifle like wavesplitter that switches between all different subclass types. With a catalyst like Agers that consumes your super into the gun that overcharges it, spewing out light and dark that leaves behind the debufs of all subclasses.

I would have made that an exotic similar to Collective Obligation in function but in execution is like Traveler's Chosen. A Kinetic Autorifle or Sidearm that increases its damage with every debuff it "leeches" it then stores it, with all 5 leeched stacks putting it on the level of a special weapon in damage like a Trace Rifle or a Sidearm, and then having it "releasing" all those debuffs at the cost of your damage buff. Heck, to really spice it up, instead of all of the leeched debuffs giving damage stacks, let the light based powers increase rate of fire, while darkness based powers increase damage.

my exotic idea for a warlock prismatic "enhanced" exotic armor (works perfectly fine on any element, but really shines with prismatic) Swarmkeeper Vest Perk: We are Legion Damage dealt by summoned entities give energy for the least charged ability Enhance the capability of the summoned entities -Arc Soul: attacks now blind combatants, final blow cause blind in an area, larger area if amplified -Helion: projectile now spawn seeking fire vortex that inflict schorc -Child of the old gods: last longer and grant effect of both rift child -Threadlings: on impact threadlings generate a subprojectile that seek the nearest enemy dealing 50% of the dmg (still count as threadling dmg for perks and fragment), chance of spawning a threadling egg instead (20%) -bleak watcher: the turret now has 2 "guns", with prioritize different targets

I think a fusion that fires similar to bastion would be dope charge up, then fire 2, 3 round bursts with that same idea of stasis, strand, and kinetic, then solar, void, and arc

I would make a wave frame that uses strand and stasis it would have chill clip and hatchling and it would first freeze then release on threadling per 2 enemies killed. The exotic perk would give it slideways but an enhanced version without restriictions that makes you get a amplified buff when you reload by sliding after a kill. Then the catalyst would be chain reaction.

Honestly I love the idea of like 'liquid darkness" a darkness flavour hard light pulse rifle type thing, maybe it could be some kind of heavy weapon with an element swap on reload since i don't think we have one of those yet

Something like deterministic chaos would be fun. Like every 4th bullet causes volatile, then blind maybe, and then scorch. Catalyst could add sever for strand

Tbf Quicksilver was turned into a Strand weapon with Catalyst so wouldnt be suprised if something similar happened with Tesselation

An auto rifle that shoots elemental bullets. Each bullet has a diffrent subclass attached to it. It can potentially shoot every elemental subclass at a target.

Let me make this more fleshed out I like this. So this will be an adaptive frame pulse rifle called "Unveiled devourer" Kinetic damage witch base upon breaking and enemy shield you activate the perk "Devoured barrier" giving you damage matching the shield you broke and upon killing a target with the damage type you gained you get granted an elemental buff (Void: Devour, Solar: restoration Arc: Amplified Stasis: Stasis overshield Strand: Woven mail) It would also come with the perk Genesis. 42 rounds in mag and 82 range. Catalyst would Give it a secondary fire mode that you could activate by stealing 3 shields (like you break one shield you get 1 stack of the exotic perk and multiple shield breaks would increase the perk stack and for every stack after one grants 2.5% damage boost) You gain one multi elemental damage shot mini rocket but only be able to hold 1 shot of this rocket

Prismatic Exotic Autorifle Call it the Lightkeeper Kinetic slot Magazine: 39 Corkscrew Rifling Alloy Magazine 2 firing modes, can switch by manually holding reload OR if 1 transcendent bar fills, the weapon when reloaded will automatically switch to the firing mode that has not been filled 1: Purging Dark (Precision fire) Fires kinetic, stasis and strand attribute rotating every 3 bullets Enemies hit by this fire mode become volatile 2. Overflowing Light (Rapid Fire) Fires void, solar, arc rotating every 3 bullets Enemies hit by this fire mode become severed Exotic Catalyst: Beyond Transcendence Each firing mode gets the following traits Purging Dark: Kinetic Tremors, Triple Tap Overflowing Light: Overflow, Onslaught

It’s gonna be interesting to see what they change for prismatic like they can’t obviously change all the current exotic armors cause but some of the more generic ones should be baller with prismatic looking at you eye of another world.

I think it's gonna get harmonic mods for whatever super is equipped, but synergize specifically with kinetic.

Thats a perk on a borderlands 3 weapon decides what element is weak to the target and switches to that element depending on the enemy

The fusion rifle you get for reserving Final Shape. Remember how the strand auto rifle got changed with a catalyst when the last DLC came out? I’m better that exotic fusion is going to get a catalyst as well. I mean it already changes element based on your subclass. What element would it pick with Prismatic?

we already have a "prismatic" exotic. Conditional Finality :) this one being their beta then theres also the permeability and osmosis traits for guns. this being their alpha tests then theres the tesselation being their finalized version

I would like to see some legendary prismatic weapons with the ability to roll multiple subclass specific perks such as headstone and incandescent. It would be awesome if the incandescent also shattered the stasis crystal causing shatter damage on top of the incandescent damage.

This gun won't work on solar, stasis, and (effectively) arc because you can't have more than two debuffs at once. Scorch turns to ignition. Slow turns to freeze. Arc has jolt and blimding but it's annoying to get a blinding build up and running because of the fragments being power crept and also one of them being arc SPECIAL weapons needed to proc blinding. In which case the only logical choice is coldheart or maybe forbearance. Getting amplified would be a poor payoff for needing to reorient a whole build or to use blinding grenades. I think a good alteration to the exotic would be for sensitise to run on a meter system and also adopt the idea of lower and higher order debuffs. Rack up enough kills on lower end debuffed enemies (scorch, weaken, jolted, slowed, unraveled) to fill the bar and then hard reload to make the gun apply the corresponding subclasses higher order debuff on whatever it shoots temporarily Like collective obligation but with a meter instead of just tagging them. So: Void: Kill a bunch of weakened enemies, hard reload, you now apply volatile/supress oj your shots for a short time. Solar: Scorch and ignition Arc: Jolt and Blind Stasis: Slow and Freeze Strand: Unravel and Sever/Suspend The reason for this alteration is also because stasis just doesn't have a corresponding buff so how would it work?

How about a scout rifle that swaps ammo with each shot. Solar, Arc, Void, Stasis, Strand, Kinetic in that sort of order. Sure it would be inconsistent mainly against elemental shields, but it would be well spread for damage types and the trait could be that shot applies the debuff of that class. Solar: Scorch Arc: Jolt Void: Volatile Stasis: Slow Strand: Sever Kinetic would basically do kinetic tremors.

Mixed exotics have always had a very mixed reception. Boraalis, Hardlight, that one super wave frame, haven't seen anybody use them seriously in years

Well we have tesselation which will get a catalyst that will probably make it nasty with prismatic. Also conditional finality. We also got teasers for that traveler beam weapon and golden gun sniper. should be a pretty crazy season.

Tesselation and the Traveler beam trace rifle will both likely by Prismatic. Tesselation will probably change like Quicksilver did when Lightfall came out

With prismatic coming and basically destiny 2s last hoorah I think there should be certain exotics and abilities that go across classes, like imagine a hunter with calibands hand combined with the pyrogales fire tornado effect
