shouldn't you be wearing latex or some sort of glove so oil from your hands doesn't get transferred to the part?

LOL that's what I was thinking as well. Hopefully he has dry hands and doesn't use lotion. 😀

Yes, in all practicality you should. But, in my experience, if your hands are clean, you won't have issues with oils causing contamination issues.

It really just depends on the conditions. Right or wrong we do assume that people make wise decisions regarding the cleanliness of their hands. As far as just regular "clean" hands goes, there should not be problems with contamination or adhesion.
