Thats a sick color. One of the hardest things when it comes to powder coating with prismatic powders is trying to decide on the colors cause there are so many to choose from.
Yes, you say set your infrared gun, but to what? Anything from between 0,1to 1,0. What is the right setting? Where can i find the info for all the different colours? I mean for the infrared meter.
It's highly probable that each IR Temp Gun model will be calibrated a little differently, so we can't say exactly what your setting will be. If I remember correctly I think ours was set to .7 We did a video a little while back that may help you. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-T-juuj7NEDA.html A lot of IR Thermometers will come with a manual to guide you on the correct settings as well.
I sprayed chrome on a test piece and it came out amazing. Then I went to put on the clear vision and when I took it out of the over it had texture and no longer looks like chrome. What went wrong? Too much clear powder is what I’m assuming
Please get in touch with our tech support team and they will be able to help you out. Without seeing images of the texture it's hard to diagnose. If it's an orange peel-like texture, then the clear vision is probably too heavy. Too much clear can certainly diminish the transparency.
