Prison got me into serious bodybuilding. Both of those made my life so much better in so many ways. Got a baby now an suv and buying my first house In April. I came a long way.

My kids dad just did 18months for drugs and he learned self improvement and discipline. As someone who just OD a week ago, and have been having run ins with the law this man has inspired me to be better much respect Wes I look forward to your videos everytime I see a new one. Im working on my consistency and getting my life right I got a second chance that not alot of people get can honestly say that I died in the back of an ambulance and paramedics brought me back to life. Being clean is hard. Not because it’s short term, but because it’s your new life. Every day, through every situation, low, high, you gotta maintain. That truth is so scary I’ve known people to just admit a month in that normal life isn’t for them anymore. So here’s what you gotta do. You can’t replace your number one passion and obsession with...nothing! In that vacuum despair will grow. You need a true goal. A purpose, a new obsession. Your an addict right? You need to use that. So be addicted to growth and making something. Something worthwhile and worthy. Your own body or mind. Or both. Saving other people from our demon. It needs to be something so pure that it puts fire through your veins and gives you the light to maintain the endless hard days of your new life. I’m rooting for you brother. I’ve been clean a long time and had a bunch of relapses. Because I thought I could just stop and after that live my life. But it doesn’t work that way for addicts. So get addicted to something that raises you up and makes you better. Imagine 2 arms shaking hands with each other. One side is your addiction, the other is sobriety. That addiction hand is always pulling. It never stops. Will never stop. So if you rest for a second it gets you back. What you need is for your other hand to pull just as hard on the other direction. That’s your will your life. And when you give yourself a purpose that’s when you set it to actively oppose your addiction. So it can’t pull you back.
