Great videos "crosscountryvideos," I run east coast to CA and back and all the lower 48 as long as the pay is right. The open road is my home and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm 68 now and been out here since I was 19. I sure miss the good old days but not the new ways. DOT sucks, especially CA. Be careful out here drivers !!!
Eagle One Brand new Dot Cert trailer was seized. carrying scrap metal junk 1 ton under max load and stopped by a state pooper trooper. saying did you know why I stopped you. I said No sir You might be over loaded. then the trooper I say Oh here's my papers for the weight scale sir. 24,000 lb on a 30 ft trailer max weight 26,000 lbs. oh he said the gives me a line of crap wrong breaking system trooper was a arse breaking system was rated at 30,000 lbs. when it was all cleared up to pick up my trailer was damaged and my load was gone.
Eagle One Funny how a lot of us oldies are still driving. I'm 65 and I know others who are over 70 still doing long haul. Oldest guy I know is 81 still doing long haul.
