Could you please let me know what is the PH of your PristinHydro water? I am totally against high alkaline water, it does interfere with your stomach acid. I prefer my water at a PH of 7-7,5. What are your thoughts on this? Many thanks.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge! It’s a shame that this system is not available in Europe, import taxes from the US are very high. However, what do you think about having a water tank? The bacterial overgrow in RO systems always concerns me, and apart from the membrane flush, this Modell does not have any anti bacterial filters? So would you say other good RO systems do not remove “acid rain” from the water ? The innovation is definitely the deionisation, remineralisation and restructuring filters. Wonder if I could just add these filters to my RO system ? I usually make my own salt solution as I have not found a remineralizer that works/ or is safe, then vortex.
Noheaa'Elisa Sandra Most places chlorinate the water, and so bacteria is not an issue. If you’re on a well, then it’s smart to just hook a UV light to it.
My friend bought water from the Pristine Hydro headquarters in CA - both she and her friend felt nauseous and not great. She said there's too much bicarbonate in it...🤷
Guessing your making and using mag bicarb still? I remember watching your videos a lot a few years back, just around the time I got the system you just got there. Been looking to get MOM since though to make it myself, as it gets real expensive shipping PHs products such as bicarb to sweden...
So food forms will not be enough to replace bicarbonate you think? Been eating plentiful of inka indian made raw cacao paste traditionally fermented... Just looking back to the bicarbonate tho wana start making it...
I bought the device in January 2022. When I received the device it was immediately clear that there was a problem with the part that connects to the faucet - there were leaks. I checked the connector on other faucets to make sure it wasn't a problem with my faucet, and indeed it turned out that the problem is with the connector. I contacted them and was promised that they would send me a new connector, it took a long time because they didn't have it in stock but finally after a long wait they sent me a shipment. When I received the new part I was happy but very quickly the joy disappeared because this part was even worse than the last! Every time I need to filter water, my whole kitchen is flooded!!!! It's just a nightmare!!! I am very sorry that I bought from you! One of the worst decisions of my life. I contacted them by email at the beginning of September and told them that the device was flooding my entire kitchen, but they simply ignored it. So you be the judge...
I may end up getting this instead of Kangen water. I was always a fan of Kangen water, but after seeing YT video of Pristine Hydro, I am being converted to PH.. lol We shall see. Thank you for this video.
I don’t understand why Matt says a Berkey doesn’t remove iron. Independent lab reports says it removes 99.9% of iron. I’m just unsure where this rumor is coming from that it doesn’t remove iron. Berkey does not remove ionic minerals like sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium so if you use a TDS it will measure those minerals which is why TDS is not the most accurate representation for how healthy water is. A lab test needs to be done to know for sure. And these beneficial minerals that the Berkey keeps are also added back in with the Pristine system so I don’t see what the issue is. theberkey.com/pages/test-result
Hi Matt, love your work. According to Paleomedicina (Zsophia Clemens), all patients who stick to the paleo ketogenic diet have adequate serum magnesium levels so there is no need to supplement. If a patient is low on magnesium it is a sign that they are not eating enough liver. peace
Serum magnesium (Mg) is the wrong measure and inaccurate. About 1% of your Mg is in serum. Mg is an intracellular mineral, not extracellular. Magnesium RBC (red blood cell) was mentioned by Matt for a reason. A good "ideal" Mg RBC range begins at 6.5 mg/dl (Morley Robbins). LabCorp's standard range, which I consider"sickly" at the bottom end, is 4.2-6.8. Morley Robbins is the "go-to" guy on magnesium because he has surveyed more relevant research than any other content producers. Get the right test then let's talk
@@rolandsharp Excellent books include The Magnesium Factor, The Magnesium Miracle, and The Calcium Lie II (calcium and magnesium are antagonists so too much calcium means too little magnesium). Search the last book title on RU-vid and you will come across the author giving a presentation on the book's subject matter. I try to buy my books used, usually at Abebooks.com. RU-vid search "Andrea Rosanoff magnesium" for a short visual explanation of how magnesium and calcium work at the cellular level. Money Robbins is a good resource, as are all his research cites. The "bang for the buck" wellness "levers" appear to be magnesium and copper dependent ceruloplasmin deficiency combined with iron overload. Nutrient depletion and toxin overload appears to eventually dysregulate the body's autonomic nervous system such that sympathetic dominance/stress is upregulated. Stress creates a nutrient depletion negative feedback loop. Mom passes down her epigenetic imbalances to baby, and every generation starts off worse than the prior generation. Speaking of mothers, the copper based (with iron based false "placebo") appears to push these wellness levers in the wrong direction.
