It's not insensitive. It's worse than that, for which she did not apologise. She only said sorry for "being insensitive". She did not say sorry for falsehood. Is she still Alleging these are true??? And PRITAM SINGH did not say it's wrong, does this mean he supports?? She removed her post only after people commented

@@perfectvita ask the minorities how they feel. Don't assume (that goes for naysayers and Raeesah's views). Its difficult to be in someone's shoes, especially if its a person with different ethnic or religious background when you belong to the "majority". Everything tend to look pristine in S'pore but there are darker sides to it like in everywhere else in the world. Even if nothing is going on when it comes to the Singapore police as Raeesah said, even its false (it might not be false to her, her perspective or her view of Singapore) but the Police don't and should not investigate or prosecute people for stating opinions on Public servants (they are "Public Servants" - like working for the public) which is general procedure in other free democratic countries (Doesn't happen in the USA or Canada, countries in Europe or even in India). The very fact that Raeesah's statement is being "investigated" by the police is frightening to me personally and I'm not sure where we are heading as a nation with this.

I ran into Workers Party during their walkabout at Sengkang yesterday and was starstruck! They were incredibly warm and genuine in person and it was addicting to hear them speak (especially from their hearts) with the media. I also struck conversations with other bystanders who were equally in awe and support of their calibre and vigour. What a solid team, indeed!

Pritam Singh should be our next PM just heard what he said, WP will look into the interests of those who voted for WP n also those who didn't vote for WP. Yes. Kong Hee verdict did indeed caught many by surprise. I can't blame her for being straight forward about her thought, but that doesn't mean she did not help people, regardless of their ethnicity and religion, while volunteering herself in WP. On the other hand, Ivan Lim is a different ball game, his displayed of arrogance and elitism has been an ingrained thing in him since young, thus it was difficult for him to change himself once he starts drawing obscene salary as an MP. The former is asking for fairness, the latter may just cause society divide between those who have & have not.

How about giving WP and PSP a chance to prove themselves. We can always voted them out on the next election if they failed to perform. Furthermore, Covid19 is a worldwide crisis that wouldn't be ending anytime soon. Even if PAP win with a 100% super mandate, economy, investment, tourism and more jobs will likely still be lost in the coming months. So what could be the possible harm?
One term can in fact impact the country a lot. A classic example would be trump with his single term . It's hard to build a system but easy to destroy one. With that being said I'm not saying that we should not give the opposition a chance but we should really vote wisely and not treat it like "oh so and so looks dedicated and had been trying for a seat for so long, we should empathize with him/her and give them a chance."

Well said to WP team. Its be great to have more of the WP team challenging in Singapore zone such as Tampines. WP should be respected from Jayratnam days. WP have been fighting grounds for low and middle class income Singaporean. Lots of Singaporean born, have lost our jobs to "FT", New Singaporean, PR, Expats and more. There no statistic figures to show how many Actual Singaporean Born, New Residents, PR, Expats that are working in Singapore. Are the government able to generate enough jobs for now and the current future for our younger generations? With Singapore being the Glonal Top Class Country have made living costs in Singapore very expensive and Singaporean who have been out of jobs become very stressful and reliable to stay for retirement days.

There was some PAP dog whom didn’t believe that the pap was gerrymandering, I showed him all the evidence and he still refused to believe and kept on defending the pap even when they were making decisions against the interests of Singaporean’s. Such pap supporters are really hopeless

ok this isn't the point but you know how on nomination day, they wipe down every mic after a speaker and now all interviews (regardless of whatever parties) are being held with shared mics in close proximity.
I am a Sengkang resident who has stayed here for 4 years already - the Resident Network office at my neighbourhood was not opened (in fact not even renovated at all for the past 4 years since I moved in) only until COVID19 kicks in and the government needed to give out face masks to households. The office was only renovated a few weeks because of the first mask collection date (during phase 1). Do I feel that I have been well taken care of as a resident? Well, surely not.
Taiwan is dealing with covid 19 well. R u trying to send out a message that only pap can deal with covid in sgp? Come on lah, don't try to fool voters, maybe if u r willing to bring in FT from taiwan to help deal with covid, then i may consider your words. Go for it workers party. Upright and forthright.
