One of the best sedan setup on internet

That's an impressive setup! Thanks for the tour. Writing item locations is a clever strategy!

I'm so impressed with your set up, amazing amount of work to get all that in there. I also have forgotten where stuff is, the diagram is something I need to do, great idea. I have found lots of things I have initially brought with me that I almost never use, and end up getting rid of. It's a process that takes time. Eventually you will get it down to a minimum comfortable amount of stuff, and with the amount of time you have in that car I'll bet the daily routine is pretty seamless for you now. Also I want to mention the quick comment you made about securing things down. One of the advantages of touring in a Prius is that it handles so well on narrow winding mountain roads. It's great fun to drive those roads in a small car and not a giant top heavy sprinter. With that "hot rodding" though you absolutely need everything secured and not moving around. Like you said massively distracting to hear stuff sliding in the back when you're trying to enjoy every cool mountain turn. Great video as usual, and I love to mention you get all this, a bag of chips and 45 miles per gallon. LOL. "45 MILES PER GALLON!!!!" Take that Mr. Sprinter. Us Prius people can do three trips for your one, I love it. Great profile pic as well BTW. 👍👍

Thanks so much 😀. I don’t think people realize how awesome this little car is for this way of life!

Yeah, Travel Nurse! Wish I had done this when I was working! Much better than being supplied with housing that had ROACHES so bad they would fall on my head out of the suspended ceiling. (2005 New Jersey)

Yeah temporary housing can be tough. Didn’t ever have any problems with roaches in the places I rented but so many places rentals were sooooo much worse in person than they appeared online.

I applaud your build. Trying to figure if I can rationalize getting a cheap second gen as a mini rv because the weather has been too hot and or humid for me to enjoy tent camping most of the time.
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha Месяц назад
The second gen cars last forever. I don't know if I could ever do tent camping in hot weather after being spoiled by the Prius lol

@@sweetoldbertha So I’ve heard! My only concern is the engine startup and high speed fan noise being a nuisance to other campers.

I love your set up. I have a 2017 Prius trying to get different ideas. Can the back seats be reinstalled? Did you install the inverter yourself? I don’t know where to find someone knowledgeable to do that for me. I was told my battery (2017) is not in the trunk area. Hope you’re well. Thanks 😊
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha 5 месяцев назад
Thank you so much! Yes the seats can be reinstalled. An electrician or car stereo place could install the inverter. It’s fairly simple to install. Hope this helps!

Is that a little space heater beside the toilet? If so, care to share some info on it? Trying to keep an eye out for a small one that has a thermostat or timer so it won’t make it too hot. Thx.

There’s a link in the description. You just set it to the temp you want, and it will turn on and off to keep that temp. It’s really nice to use during cold nights. Car doesn’t cycle on and off nearly as much as it does using the car’s climate control (which really heats the front mostly, not the back where I’m sleeping). Hope this helps!

With this setup, what is the demnision of the bed ?
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha 7 месяцев назад
The bed is 25"x70". I am 5'2" so it's good for me. It could be several inches longer if I'd push forward the passenger seat.

Hey, how do you drink tea in your car? Do you have like a kettle or do you just ask for hot water from places?
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha 6 месяцев назад
I use this kettle though it does require power from my inverter. Hope this helps! amzn.to/3uzCEJS

Where do you connect 2000w inverter? 12v car battery directly?
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha 5 месяцев назад
Yes, it connects directly to the 12v battery. Hope this helps 😊

Have you considered removing the front passenger seat to allow for more space?
@sweetoldbertha
@sweetoldbertha 7 месяцев назад
Yes I’ve thought about it a lot. But I have enough room as it is and not ready to let go of being able to have a passenger in my car.
@TrinitySEssex

Ive done it both ways and the front seat removal is so amazing. Its where my kitchen pantry area is and I have JOYTUTUS 12 refrigerator which doubles as a countertop, table. Its lasted a couple years and rarely pulls more than 30 watts Im not setup rn but working on getting back out by late april if you want pics for reference.@@sweetoldbertha
